POTUS: People have to behave!' Trump tells reporters he'll ultimately beat CNN's Jim Acosta in court after judge orders White House to restore press pass – and warns he can end his press conferences early if journalists don't have 'decorum'
President Donald Trump warned the political press corps on Friday not to rejoice too loudly about a court decision that forced him to temporarily restore the press pass the White House confiscated last week from CNN reporter Jim Acosta.
He predicted he will ultimately win CNN's lawsuit challenging the White House's action, which a federal judge ruled had singled out Acosta and denied him a constitutionally guaranteed 'due process' to defend himself.
Trump said the White House is now 'writing up rules and regulations' to create a process that can be used to punish unruly reporters who don't maintain what he called 'decorum' during press conferences.
'We’re setting up a certain statndard which is what the court is requesting,' he said, adding that 'with the rules and regulations, we will end up back in court and we will win.'
Judge Timothy Kelly said Friday that Jim Acosta's free-press rights under the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution outweigh 'the government’s interest in orderly, respectful press conferences.'
He declared in a stinging defeat for the president in his war on 'fake news' that the White House failed to give Acosta 'due process,' something guaranteed in government proceedings under the Fifth Amendment.
And he suggested that the White House exaggerated its contention that Acosta physically interfered with a female intern last week as she tried to reclaim a press conference microphone.

how about telling the judge he has no standing.
IF Acosta acts like an ass, Trump should state something along the lines of “Well folks, Jim is at it again- therefore This press conference is over- and you can thank Jim for ending it prematurely- keep doing that until the press corp turns on Jim for ruining their chances of asking questions-
Just stop giving press conferences until he wins in court.

What's he going to do, force Trump to call on Acosta 4 times a day?
The White House should simply ignore the court order.
Stop the face to face crap and do an email blast. Thats the way the rest of the world functions.
He should just suspend all briefings until Acosta recuses himself from the job.
Or simply take zero questions from any of the organizations which supported the suit. Let them in to listen to others ask questions only.
Just issue a daily press release, and let them submit questions in writing
They live for that kind of drama.
Then they can scream over the president and it can be reported on 4,000 msm news outlets.
Due process. Really? I am not a lawyer but I was taught that was when someone is charged with a crime? No crime here just the President asking some dirtbag to leave his house.
This may well end up at the SCOTUS and we can hope they will rule appropriately.
The current ruling is preposterous and cannot even be legal.
To some judges, they have more power than the president. Until they get corrected, they will continue to believe so.
