A photo of the two, posing alongside fans, was posted online Tuesday by Tiffany Easter. She wrote that O'Rourke and Cruz were both on her flight from George Bush International Airport in Houston.
"Beto, noticed Ted sitting down and walked over to congratulate him on his re-election campaign," Easter wrote. "It was the first time they had seen each other since the election and the entire conversation was both of them talking about how they could move forward TOGETHER."

You have to remember, when Trump was running before the primaries, the media was telling us Trump was going to drop out any day now, or by Thanksgiving, or Christmas, or End of January or before the first primary... I am sure Ted believed that so he was “friends” with Donald hoping that when he drops out he would inherit his supporters. That was Ted’s plan, it didn’t work out that way for him.
As for Trump, he let Ted think they were friends, until Trump didn’t drop out. To Trump that idea was that it was just one less Republican attacking him 24/7 and he could concentrate on knocking out YEB, Rubot 2.0, iCarly, Ben and the others.

Beto is the TX CD 16 Representative in the US House. Both
represent Texas in their different elected position. Beto’s
term ends Jan. 3, 2019. Ted and Beto aren’t going to act like
foes when chatting with people most likely residents of Texas.
