It Sure Looks Like Democrats in Florida Altered Ballots (Why is anyone surprised?)

It's been more than one week since polls closed on Election Night in Florida, with tight national races and recount efforts again spotlighting the Sunshine State.

In Broward and Palm Beach Counties, there have been a slew of ballot issues. Election officials in both counties have a history of incompetence and corruption.

Broward County Election Supervisor Brenda Snipes was convicted for illegally destroying ballots in 2016 and has a long record of questionable practices.

Over in Palm Beach, election officials locked reporters out of a public meeting where ballots were being reviewed. Reporters have been covering these types of meetings in an open setting for years.

Now, a new report shows ballots were inappropriately altered and the Florida Democrat Party is the likely culprit. From POLITICO (bolding is mine):

The Florida Department of State last week asked federal prosecutors to investigate dates that were changed on official state election documents, the first voting “irregularities” it has flagged in the wake of the 2018 elections.

The concerns, which the department says can be tied to the Florida Democratic Party, center around date changes on forms used to fix vote-by-mail ballots sent with incorrect or missing information. Known as “cure affidavits,” those documents used to fix mail ballots were due no later than 5 p.m. on Nov. 5 — the day before the election. But affidavits released on Tuesday by the DOS show that documents from four different counties said the ballots could be returned by 5 p.m. on Thursday, which is not accurate.

Audio of a Florida Democratic Party caller leaving a voicemail message asking a Palm Beach County voter to fix their vote by mail ballot after Election Day, which is not allowed, was also sent to POLITICO separately. It was not part of the information turned over to federal prosecutors.

Meanwhile, the recount triggered over the weekend and officially announced by the Secretary of State has been halted. Vote counting machines in Palm Beach County have broken down, again delaying final tallies. The original deadline for the recount is today, November 15. Because of the machine malfunctions, that deadline has been extended to November 20. From CBS Miami:

On Tuesday, Supervisor of Elections Susan Bucher said their outdated equipment is slowing them down.

“I don’t think the state of Florida expected that we would have this many recounts but what I think is we have a lot of outdated statutes, a lot of outdated laws that were designed when we had a much lesser population,” said Bucher.

Those comments came hours before the ballot counting machines completely broke down.

Bucher says that they have to re-run all the early voting ballots in the Senate race.

Technicians have been flown to South Florida to fix the machines, but it’s not clear yet when they will be back up and running.

Florida Governor Rick Scott is proceeding as the U.S. Senator-elect and was in Washington D.C. this week for orientation. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell welcomed him to the Capitol on Wednesday.

Scott's opponent, Democrat Senator Bill Nelson, is vowing to fight on. In the governor's race, Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum rescinded his concession to Republican Governor-elect Ron DeSantis last weekend.

Oh, I can guarantee you that not only will the Left be surprised, they’ll hotly contest every example. If the lookouts on the Titanic had been Leftists they would have seen the iceberg but disputed and denied there was anything more beneath the water ... quite possibly disputed that they were seeing ice at all.

I hope someday to be able to thank “Dr”* Snipes for being the impetus which brought about strict voter ID laws.

*I’d also like to know where she got her Doctorate so I can call and ask how much it costs to get one and if they can overnight it.

I am thinking that part of the reason nobody really has the stomach to reveal and prosecute this election debacle is
1-Legal prosecution could look like political retribution and likely the main reason why HRC is not persecuted

2-After the period of disbelief, the erosion of faith in our institutions could be fatal to our democracy.

If we dug a canal across northern Florida would it float away?

Matt Gaetz is absolutely right, this is all a trial run to steal Trump’s re-election. All it will take is Florida, Arizona, Wisconsin and maybe one or two other states having “all the presidential votes” counted and President Beto will be able to quickly un-do the progress Trump has made.

I was troubled that Trump didn’t do more in his first two years to solidify the integrity of the USA’s voting systems. It might be too late now.

Half the country thinks anything is OK as long as it helps the Democrats to get elected.

Trump tried to tackle the issue of voter fraud early on in his Presidency but that petered out because of Democratic resistance.

IIRC, the president started to do something about voter fraud. Did he not ask every governor to submit something to the federal government at one time? Their voter lists? I’m not sure. He got a lot of flack (surprise) and then I thought he transferred the whole thing over to Homeland Security to dig into.

It's a huge mistake to characterize SOE Brenda Snipes as "incompetent." She's a very calculated lady with hidden agendas.

One Democratic suck-up says Brenda Snipes is "too incompetent" to commit election fraud (cue hysterical laugh machine here).

It is a b-i-g mistake to think Brenda Snipes is incompetent or foolish. Snipes is a sly fox,
and knows more about the election laws, loopholes and ways to circumvent the law than the elections official themselves.
She doesn’t do anything by accident - she just does the "shuck and jive" routine to play the role.

FOR INSTANCE---Snipes calculatedly designed ballots to generate under-votes (blank votes) for the senate election.
That way Snipes and her cohorts can fill in the blank and change it to a vote for the democrat.

This isn’t her first rodeo - she has been in this job scamming elections for 15 years. Check out her history of election wrongdoing.
Those are just the times she happened to get caught. And she still managed to keep her $200K job.

Snipes has figured out myriad ways to scam an election; she has more crooked lives than a black cat.

No amount of convincing will ever suffice. The dems, like their fellow-traveling Bolsheviks before them, believe the ends always justify the means. It's "all for the Revolution."

Snipes is nothing more or less than another corrupt dem operative....regardless of what fat-face Chris Stirewalt blathers on FOX. He drives me nuts - said this morning that the president was just making stuff up. I wish this guy would disappear.

How dare you suggest that Snipes did anything illegal! You are bullying the Broward Board of Elections with your racism! Don’t you know she’s a she, and black! She’s as honest as a winter day is long./s

‘Broward County Election Supervisor Brenda Snipes was convicted for illegally destroying ballots in 2016 ‘

If convicted what was her punishment, why is she STILL the supervisor, and why isn’t she in jail?

This all reverts back to Governor Scott. He is either an incompetent dupe, or else a coward.

The board of elections comes under the authority of the executive branch - that is the governor’s office. Scott allowed these criminals to keep their positions. He could and should have fired them, and sent a few to prison. Rather, he kowtowed to the “racist” card the Dems always resort to.

So, this entire mess falls squarely at Scot’s doorstep. Now, if he is this timid, this naive, this irresponsible as a governor, then why the hell should this fool be given a seat in the senate? He’s an idiot!
