A Wisconsin company is giving every employee a handgun for Christmas.
The company, BenShot, sells novelty glassware with bullets embedded, according to the Appleton Post-Crescent.
The gift idea is part of an effort to promote personal safety and team building, owner Ben Wolfgram told the newspaper.
“For us, now, we have an entire armed staff,” he said. “I think that’s pretty good.”
All 16 full-time employees will be able to pick their choice of revolver. Wolfgram said most employees, including some who had never shot a gun, were excited about the company's announcement.
Wolfgram said at least two employees initially declined the gift but are reconsidering after taking a gun-safety course that the company required before giving out the guns.
The report comes amid national debate over firearms as mass shootings occur in America with more frequency. A dozen people were recently killed at a bar in California as a result of a mass shooting.
Is it revolvers only or is Owen Daugherty just ignorant?
Nothing wrong with wheel guns.
They are the simplest to operate and most reliable handgun.
I work at a gun store and all we get is a Christmas party.

And they don’t throw the empty cases all over either. No littering.
Hell yeah.
Any revolver or just from the company selected? IF any revolver it would have to be a Ruger Super Blackhawk in .44 mag. Big Iron style. The kind that make a snowflake lib quiver in fear just at the mere thought of it.
That business is just a few miles down the road from me. Must have driven past it a couple of dozen times and never knew it was there until I read about it in the paper today. I will do some Xmas shopping there.
Liberals are expecting a massacre to occur at this business within 7 days. Two weeks, tops.

I think I’m getting a .356 for Chanukah. The tank is on order for Xmas. Got to protect the grandchildren. My kids and son-in-law have enough weapons amongst themselves to endure a Zombie Apocalypse. Hunters, veterans of 3 wars, target shooters, child protectors.

As Mel Gibson said in “Lethal Weapon” (One), to Danny Glover, “I’m not crazy”.
I’m old, have lots of pain and eyes aren’t what they used to be but I still can shoot a 9MM etc at a 25 ft target and shoot a 1 to 1-1/2 inch pattern between the eyes or at dead center. (Used to do that with a 22 rifle at 75 feet. Gonna try that the next time I go shooting, but with a handgun).
Basically I only need three shots to do that but I shoot 5-6 bullets just to make sure. Got grandchildren to protect.

Good thing the Company didn’t buy their Employees Cars or Swimming Pools. Their Families might actually be in danger.
