Former first lady Michelle Obama says she took a page out of Laura Bush’s playbook and reached out to Melania Trump to offer advice on the years ahead — and the current FLOTUS ghosted her.
“Has (Trump) reached out?” asked ABC anchor Robin Roberts during a sit-down with Obama on Sunday.
“No,” said Obama. “No, she hasn’t.”
Trump’s communications director, Stephanie Grisham, confirmed the lack of correspondence in a statement to CNN on Monday.
“Mrs. Trump is a strong and independent woman who has been navigating her role as First Lady in her own way,” the statement said. “When she needs advice on any issue, she seeks it from her professional team within the White House.”
Obama — who was on ABC promoting her new memoir, “Becoming” — said she had gotten the idea to reach out to Trump from Bush, who had given her the same offer for help when she became first lady.
“I’m a phone call away,” Obama recalled her saying.

Because Michael Moore said Michelle is “beloved” and would be a great person to run against Trump in 2020. From nothing to First Lady to has-been First Lady to President. Now that’s a career path she really deserves. Between “gardening” and pumping iron to keep those upper arms in sleeveless dresses, I am surprised she found time to write a book and campaign.
To try and recoup some of the money they spent on WRITING Michelle's book and paying her such a huge advance.
“Michelle..! Oh, hey, yeah, how might I get ole Don here to smoke crack in the back of a limo while being fellated by a DUDE..?”
Same advice mooch probably got from Laura Bush.

Did Mrs. Obama ever ask Laura Bush for help or advice? If she didn’t then why should she be surprised that Mrs. Trump hasn’t.

book title “Becoming” nastier, more divisive, more stuck on herself, more greedy...whole lot of not good things MO is becoming. If she would go away and do some good things quietly that would be wonderful, but she needs attention, spotlight.
