Martha McSally was a #NeverTrumper before the 2016 election.
She refused to attend the Republican convention. But Paul Ryan really liked her.
Conservative radio host and author Mark Levin told his audience on Monday that McSally refused to go on his show.

I was worried about McSally all along because I thought AZs GOP was derelict in backing her and I was particularly irked and disappointed with Cindy McCain, Kellly Ward and Sheriff Joe for not actively campaigning for her. I mean, what better way to show UNITY to fellow Republican Arizonians than to actively campaign for McSally?
Instead, I saw Cindy standing as close as she could to Governor Ducey at his campaign stops.
I also think McSally could have benefited from a makeover like her opponent.

Is Trump going to blame McSally for keeping her distance from him as well?
Trump came to AZ and held a rally for her.
then he did his best.
Ive read that Arpaio split the conservative vote and that helped McSally just barely win the nomination. Republicans keep hurting themselves.
Its Arpaio. Always wanting the glory. He’s 85 now. Hopefully he’ll get the message after losing reelection for Maricopa County Sheriff and U S Senate that AZ has had enough of Joe Arpaio.
President Trump rallied for her in Arizona!
He tried!!
McSally embraced him at rally. I can kinda see where people thought she had a mixed message.
But still, McSally or Sinema. The choice was as contrast as one could get and still McSally lost. Still shaking my head with confusion.
Sinema said in her acceptance speech tonite it was a rejection of Trump’s tone that won her the election. That’s all D’s do project. Sinema said awful stuff about AZ. The kinda stuff that Trump could ever dream of saying.
I know that three were in the primary that McSally won.
Sheriff Joe and Dr Kelly Ward. I recall that Dr Ward made a couple of unfortunate statements that seemed to hurt her, although I dont recall the statements.
I dont get it either.
That Sienna is horrid.
McSally was much the better choice.
I suspect several illegals have managed to register to vote.
I think it was the promise of free health care. McCain’s vote was really devastating. Health care premiums in AZ have risen 116% on average. They have become unaffordable and something does need to be done. Republicans didn’t have a plan to fix it. I don’t think the Democrats do either because they’re the ones that messed it up in the first place. But the perception is: It was the mean old Republicans wanting to do away with preexisting conditions that really cost us some seats, including Flake’s.
Lesson never learned:
In purple states, Trumpism is the only way to counter Democrat voter fraudsters and a charismatic chosen one. There is no middle ground.
Will Arizona RINOs every learn? No, unfortunately.
Oh come on, neither Ward or Arpaio would have earned the number of votes that McSally did even though McSally lost.
Very true, my healthcare went way up this enrollment. It’s not stopping and I don’t know how we can get our government to do something.
The problem was the gov’t in the first place. The Republicans should have done something, anything.
I can’t imagine why Governor Ducey would replace Kyl with someone who couldn’t win a Senate election on merit.
Electable is back in the lexicon. We see now how Trump won. When there is a sharp contrast between candidates, you polarize the electorate but your party base is more likely to turn out for you.
McSally more electable than either Ward or Arpaio. Therein lies the crux of the matter.
And MOST Mormons didn’t vote for her because Trump was mean to FLAKEY! IDIOTS.
