I believe that Donald Trump will be the last Republican president many of us will ever see in our lifetimes. We hope that he will serve two terms, but even that is not a given, despite his popularity both personally and of his MAGA agenda. Ill call it the three Ds, in honor of Trumps first name Donald demeanor, demographics, and deception. (snip)...In other words, Trump is a one-off, an exception. Unlike Obama, Trump is the one we have been waiting for, after a string of wet noodles named Bush, Romney, McCain, and Ryan to name a few. But the Republican bench is thin. Who is the heir apparent? I dont see anyone with the charisma, fire in the belly, energy, and commitment to conservative principles and values.

I am a man. Period. I am a suburban conservative. Period.
“A recent Yale/MIT study claimed that there are at least 22 million here currently.”
Yes, but no conservative politician or radio talk show, including Limbaugh and Hannity, will dare to use that number.
I heard Rush Friday refer to the eleven million number, again. Well, he did say eleven million plus.
A former FL supervisor of elections tells of people coming in especially on Souls to the Polls Sunday asking for an I voted sticker.
They couldnt vote because they were felons, but they have to show one in order to get their reward (barbecue, or whatever). He told his people to do it.
The other side will do whatever it takes.

Well put. It invokes the totalitarian image of thought control.
I didn’t enjoy writing it but we can’t ignore the destructive realities bearing down on us It is very sad.
More defeatist crap. Every year we can read these stupid articles on “the last republican president.” It’s clickbait.
And remember, Hillary has a 93% chance to become president. Make your bets, losers.
In about 100 years, we may swing back right like Brazil has but it will be temporary.
Buy stock in gate and barbed wire companies.
Our Founders predicted this would happen. When more people receive welfare than pay taxes, the country is dead. I’m all for another revolution. It is time to take away all the freebies given out in the past 100 years. Our Constitution is still valid, it is the crap congresses have done that has destroyed us.
These words were spoken to Davy Crockett by Horatio Bunce:
“So you see, Colonel, you have violated the Constitution in what I consider a vital point. It is a precedent fraught with danger for the country, for when Congress once begins to stretch its power beyond the limits of the Constitution, there is no limit to it and no security for the people. I have no doubt you acted honestly, but that does not make it any better, except as far as you are personally concerned and you see that I cannot vote for you.”
Very interesting story...can be found here: https://www.davidstuff.com/usa/crockett.htm
The founders considered problems in Congress which is why Senators were not originally directly elected, just appointed for their terms or recalled under the original constitution by the State Legislature.
I worry about the same thing. Trump and Reagan were two in a million. I believe the hot civil war is only being postponed for 6 years.
There is no Civil War, only Civil slaughter since the military if genuinely oppressive would have all the big and powerful weapons, not to mention trained equipped killers. Plus they could just either set up or arrest plenty of people on trumped up charges and even The majority of Freepera would go along with punishing the criminals.
That’s my point. In past generations a lot of younger people were somewhat liberal. I was more libertarian than liberal, but when we got married, had kids, bought houses, started careers we “grew up”. We had things worth preserving which made us more conservative. This isn’t happening with the young people I know. They acquire all the trappings of adulthood, but stay liberal and somewhat immature, which seem to go together. I built my first house at 27. Got married at 21. Now parents are expected to pay for a “child’s” insurance until they’re 26. It doesn’t bode well for the country to have a generation that refuses to grow up.
In 2006, the study guide, for LEGAL IMMIGRANTS, who were about to take the test to become naturalized American citizens stated that to be ELIGIBLE to become president of this country, one MUST be a NBC and BOTH parents MUST be citizens...either by birth or NATURALIZATION, at the time of one's birth!
Do NOT bring up Obama; he was covered by two things 1) he's a DEM 2) he's 1/2 black.
Don Jr. is not only white, hunts, owns guns, but is a GOPer and worst of all...HIS LAST NAME IS TRUMP! And if you don't believe that he'd be viciously gone after for all of that PLUS not being eligible, you need help! :-)
Exactly
In the functional world that we live in, the DEMS SHALL make sure to bring it up and force him to not run/disband his campaign, should he, his younger brothers, and one sister ever try to run for the presidency!
PLEASE SEE MY POST #274!
Re today...you're right; sadly.
You don’t want to take historical facts into account that is your problem
Since there was NO America and NO "American citizenship" when Washington,Adams, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, and John Quincy Adams were born, you're just ignoring FACTS and making crazy stuff up!
I know what our government states is the LAWS, vis-a-vis eligibility; though yes, it was obscenely flouted for Obama. But you can bet everything you have that it won't be ignored for any Trump, in the future and win!
The Lord told us this would all happen. All we can do is continue our walk and trust Him with all that we have.
The folks who believe we can stop that train wreck are fooling themselves. You think it’s bad now, wait until we’re outta here!
