In a post on his website, Young said he hoped the calamitous fires would urged people to take action on the impact of climate change.
Firefighters have never seen anything like this in their lives. I have heard that said countless times in the past two days, and I have lost my home before to a California fire, now another, he wrote. Hopefully we can come together as a people to take climate change on. We have the tools and could do it if we tried. There is no downside.

Like a war zone. Bui was surprised when few of his neighbors asked for advice on how to rebuild their houses.
Who in their right mind would want to rebuild in an ash tray?
Yeah it was something like that.
I remember there was some sort of kit and you sprayed your house down in this stuff, make a pitcher of Margaritas and wait....
If I’m to blame for burning down Miley Cyrus’s house, I’m tickled pink.
The fires—The floods—The hurricanes-—
It all gets spread across every homeowner in the nation.
Remember Neil, better to burn down than fade away.
sorry, too soon.
Actually it's OK, it's California and you're on a roll...
Good one.
Well I heard Mister Young sing about herMr. Young, if your house burned it was just a premonition of your afterlife.
Well I heard ole Neil put her down
Well, I hope Neil Young will remember
A Southern man don't need him around anyhowSweet home Alabama
Where the skies are so blue
Sweet home Alabama

Wasn’t to long ago they hated the rich?
Particularly the 1%?
If I lived out west it would be in the east of Sierra... someplace dry and quiet.
“Every 10 years or so the Malibu area gets a big wildfire. This one has been worse than most, but its not the first by any means.”
There’s one in SoCal almost every year this time of year when the Santa Ana winds come up.
People blaming Trump or Global Warming are idiots, but idiots abound and rule.
We had two big fires in my part of SoCal last year. We are hoping that there isn’t enough new fuel to sustain one this season.
The current Santa Anas are particularly strong ones. I’m sure that’s helped make this year worse.
That town up north, Paradise, was developed in a dangerous location. Should never have been permitted.
Yeah. It’s Santa Ana time. I can tell every year because my hands dry out and legs get itchy.
This is for You Neil!

No!
Neil Young has a home in Telluride also, and he spends way too much time there anyway.
Keep him out of Colorado!
That was interesting.
It seems like other high-dollar homes would be built that way.

It is exceedingly hard to take these entitled bubble dwellers of the left coast seriously. The man, I never liked his voice or his music, is an idiot. Like I tell all Climate Change coreligionists “how can I deny something that has not happened?”
There has been no average temperature increase globally since 1998. Even the corrupt Climate Change Grifters are making excuses as to why this is obviously so. But I don’t expect a bubble dwelling has been like Young to have any familiarity with established scientific fact. He consumes only far leftist California grown propaganda.
As long as he does, and believes in all of that tripe with all his heart, he can remain in the California Paradise, of used needles, mounds of human feces, ever increasing numbers of homeless, economic stagnation and decline, and poor misguided forest management. He deserves only this.
