KIEV, Ukraine (AP) The campers, some clad in combat fatigues, carefully aim their assault rifles. Their instructor offers advice: Dont think of your target as a human being.
So when these boys and girls shoot, they will shoot to kill.
Most are in their teens, but some are as young as 8 years old. They are at a summer camp created by one of Ukraines radical nationalist groups, hidden in a forest in the west of the country, that was visited by The Associated Press. The camp has two purposes: to train children to defend their country from Russians and their sympathizers and to spread nationalist ideology.
We never aim guns at people, instructor Yuri Chornota Cherkashin tells them. But we dont count separatists, little green men, occupiers from Moscow, as people. So we can and should aim at them.
The nationalists have been accused of violence and racism, but they have played a central, volunteer role in Ukraines conflict with Russia and they have maintained links with the government. Earlier this year, the Ministry of Youth and Sports earmarked 4 million hryvnias (about $150,000) to fund some of the youth camps among the dozens built by the nationalists. The purpose, according to the ministry, is national patriotic education.

Nationalist = Trump = BAD
They’re not using them to fight. This is just their version of the boy scouts.
“radical nationalist groups” = US militias.
But the islamic training camps here in the US operate unmolested by the authorities.
“This is just their version of the boy scouts.”
Except they teach that some humans aren’t humans.
The good guys don’t employ child soldiers. ...............
I suppose that the Continental Army, by using soldiers who were kids by our modern standards were not the good guys. Children of 8 learning the basics of marksmanship, fire and maneuver, military organization and self confidence will be great soldiers by the time they are 16.
The U.S. Army had the odd 12 through 17 year old soldiers in both WWI and WWII. Weren’t they “good guys”?
“The U.S. Army had the odd 12 through 17 year old soldiers in both WWI and WWII. “
BS.
Nobody under 17 was allowed to enlist, and even then they had to have parental permission.
Communists aren’t humans.
...Nobody under 17 was allowed to enlist, and even then they had to have parental permission...
My uncle enlisted at age 16, served and died in the Pacific in WWII.

Did he lie about his age?
...Did he lie about his age?...
Most probably. My grandmother had to sign for him to enlist.
Oh but dont you know Euromaiden is the political orgasm that keeps on giving
I had all my enlistment paperwork, medical, parents permission completed while I was still 16. The day of my 17th birthday I was sworn in, on the bus and arrived at Ft Bliss Army base for basic training. Technically it was all legal lol, but physically I enlisted at 16, started serving at 17.
You suppose wrong
The Continental Army didnt employ 8 year olds
The one 12 year old in WWII snuck in
A few 15 year olds lied well
And 17 year olds like my father in law got permission and signed up
The youngest in Vietnam was 14/15....Danny Bullock was his name I think..a black kid who wanted to be a Marine....a hero of mine to be honest
But the poor lad only lasted three weeks in country
There are good reason civilized folk dont fight with children ...or women for that matter
Yeah, they’re more hardcore, but you don’t tell them their mortal enemies have souls.
Suspicious report:
Anybody have any background on this so called journalist Yuras Karmanau ?
