Liberals are still sporting that bitter beer face over Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation.
Take Seth Meyers, host of Late Night on NBC. In a clip CNN played this morning of his take on the Bader Ginsburg news, Meyers said:
"Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is recovering in the hospital after she fell in her office and fractured three ribs. Wow: if you had told me a Supreme Court Justice fell over and broke some ribs, I would have bet on the new guy."

Liberals still can’t get over Kavanaugh.
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
I hope he finds as much humor in the person Trump replaces her with
Because that’s probably the only SCJ he can name. Leftist memories are very short.
No, Seth, it wasn’t the guy who was confirmed to the Court just before Amy Barrett Coons. It wasn’t that guy.
Wow, they’re really scraping the bottom of the barrel for jokes.
Can you imagine the liberal heads exploding?
Remember when we had talented late night hosts who had talent and class like Johnny Carson. I watch a lot of old Tonight Show clips, and even those shows from forty years ago are a hundred times funnier than what we see today on late night TV. Johnny was a Democrat, and while he mixed in political jokes, he did them without making nasty and personal attacks on the jokes recipient, unlike today. Johnny had more talent and class than the buffoons of today like Seth Myers, Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon!
The perversion party always takes on a holier than thou persona when criticizing the right.
I forgot about bitter beer face. Har! From back in the old days.
I heard she fell after playing quarters with the new guy.
Keep laughing!
We will get at least on more Conservative Justice on the Supreme Court in the next two years and maybe one more in Trump’s second term.
Read it and weep.
I don’t get his joke.
OK, that’s a pretty easy gimme punchline.
Agreed, and as I wrote in the article:
“All things considered, Meyers’s quip was not beyond the [India] pale. Even so, does anyone remember the late-night comedians mocking Hillary ‘I like Chardonnay’ Clinton when she fell into the van? Me neither.”
Whereas Chevy Chase kickstarted his whole career by pretending to be Republican Gerald Ford falling down stairs.
Wow that’s a knee-slapper Seth. Not funny at all.
Yes I remember watching Johnny Carson. He was truly funny. And I don’t think anyone knew his politics.
