Larry King criticized CNN, his former employer of 25 years, for not covering the news anymore, instead having a laser-like focus on President Trump.
"CNN stopped doing news a long time ago," King said during an interview on RT with Rich Sanchez, his former colleague at the network. "They do Trump. Fox is Trump TV and MSNBC is anti-Trump all the time."
"You dont see a story there was vicious winds and storms in the Northeast the other day not covered on any of the three cable networks, not covered," King said. "So when CNN started covering Trump they were the first they covered every speech he made and then they made Trump the story. So, Trump is the story in America."
Cable News Fuels Anger In Politics Larry King
Sanchez said he thought CNN probably covered him as much as they did in 2016 because they believed he would lose.
"They covered him as a character. They carried every speech he made. They carried him more than Fox News, at the beginning," King said. "And so they built the whole thing up and the Republicans had a lot of candidates and they all had weaknesses."
In the same interview King also surmised that Trump would like to be a dictator.
"I think he would like to be a dictator. I think he would love to be able to just run things," he said, noting that he's known Trump for 40 years and has seen both his good and bad sides.
"Larry King Tonight" was the network's longest-running program, which aired from 1985 until 2010. He is now the host of "Larry King Now" on Hulu and RT America during the week. On Thursday evenings he hosts a political talk show called "Politicking with Larry King" on the same two channels.
Just saw another pig fly by my window.
Remember when the huff post would only cover Trump’s candidacy in the “entertainment” section for a while in the beginning? :)
CNN has jumped the shark.
Lol! Good way to put it!
Lol! Good way to put it!
CNN gets their talking points every morning from Media Matters and Moveon.org..they are NOT a news organization, they are an arm of the Democrat Party
Soros: I Fancied Myself As Some Kind Of God. A passage in his book The Alchemy of Finance, published in 1987, distinguishes Soros from all other financiers, ever. I have always harboured an exaggerated view of my self-importance, he wrote....
Ive come to the conclusion, Soros told Fortune, that one can do a lot more about the issues I care about by changing the government than by pushing the issues. In short, he has become the worlds angriest billionaire. ---- Mark Gimein, George Soros Is Mad As Hell, Fortune, 10/27/03
Unlike 0bunghole, Trump has never said that he wished he were a dictator.
True story. King was interviewing Trump and Trump totally told him his breath smelled like @ss.
I was recently in Korea. On my rented smartphone, when you clicked on the internet/news for English language news, you would only get CNN. Each one of the headlines and lede paragraphs displayed was off the charts biased and slanted. I guess being in a foreign country gives a little more perspective how bad the integrity of the U.S. media is.
Come on Larry. What do you expect from a “news channel” that hires a maggot like Senora Acosta’s little Hymie?
No reply needed.
That would not surprise me one bit.
WATCH Stupid Donald Trump Accuses Larry King for Having Bad Breath Live on CNN
bourbakis bourbakis 2 years agoThe video should have included more, to have the context: ---
"Larry said, 'You are able to put people off guard and to make people really uncomfortable, if you want. How do you do that? What do you do?"
Trump explained. Without missing a beat, Trump showed him just how he does it. "I said 'Larry, your breath is terrible.' And he goes 'What!? What!?'"
"He didn't have bad breath, actually," Trump concluded Tuesday.
It all makes sense if you "go about three minutes earlier" in the video, he said.---
Can always count on you for some liberal spin, EEE.
I don't care what the comment said. Trump said his breath stunk. That's a fact per the video evidence.
You don’t care what the context was.
You don’t care that it was a hypothetical situation
Trump was playing out to explain his negotiating tactics
in answer to King’s question.
You don’t care that Granny Clampett sucks.
You just don’t care about anything! LOL
So there
