population 26,000
Just awful. I can’t imagine the terror of those trapped.
Even tho it mentions ‘other fires in LA”, Paradise, CA is in Northern CA.
yep..that is on one side of the town and skyway highway, (with burning cars) almost on the other side
lots in between
.
The smoke goes all the way down to Tri-Valley area.
My wife said there is enough smoke in San Ramon that she can’t see Mt Diablo from her office.
Which illegal set the fires?
.
Paradise is east of Chico.
.
And the whole town is just about gone!
.
just saw a picture on twitter of McDonalds, which is in the middle of the town, burnt to the ground
.
The agenda 21 arm of the “Deep State” set the fires.
PG&E was notified yesterday that Paradise would be on fire today!
The hospital is gone now.
It hasnt rained since June so dont go looking for illegals. Just very dry, and it may have started in a park campground, where there are supposedly fatlaites. I dont know if they had a fire ban in effect or not, but in any case, nobody knows anything.
Just pray for these poor people trapped in the town. There was a problem notifying and evacuating people in the Santa Rosa and Napa fires, and Id say California still hasnt figured out how to do it.
Wow, that is incredible. It is hazy here, I think the wind is favoring our area.
Butte County is rural and forested, the roads are not freeways, just two lanes in many parts. Difficult to get people out no matter where you might be.
100’s of structures have burned
Prayers for everyone including family and friends in Chico and Paradise. I just bought a house in Magalia, just North of Paradise. Was going to be our retirement home, so far it’s safe.
I live in Santa Rosa. Very hazy all day. Layer of light soot on furniture near a cracked window. Smell of smoke all day.
I know the fire is not in Sonoma County, but this is eerily similar to how the night began a year ago with the horrible fires.
Please pray.
live from the air

the heat plume on infrared seems to be even larger then the summer fires
good news it is burning SW and will hit the valley with less burnable vegetation
Praying.
Take care!
We're a little north of you in Walnut Creek. The windows are closed, but I can still smell it inside. Lucky for us the tree-huggers running things in Sack-a-tomatoes don't want us to manage the forests...
