Broward and Palm Beach County elections officials were still counting votes on Thursday morning, and questions continued about why more than 24,000 people voted for governor but not Senate in Broward.
The Broward elections office counted 22,000 ballots Wednesday, continuing late into the night. In total, more than 695,700 Broward ballots were counted by 1 a.m. Thursday.

I suspect that there is some truth to that, sadly. Two old white guys at the top of the ballot — who cares!
Maybe not for much longer as that Prop on the ballot giving ex cons (felons) the right to vote passed. I think I heard there are between 1.5 and 2 million of them in Fl. Guess which way the vast majority of them will vote?
Fl might be lost in the near future.
Now Gillum’s “concession speech” was so matter-of-fact.
He told long stories about his grandmother.....not a shred of “gee, I lost, boo hoo.”
So sure of himself....b/c he knew what was ahead.
“They went out to vote for the Black guy...”
Too bad they didn’t do that in Detroit.
Vote fraud happening in Broward County.
What a surprise.
It seems the Florida Legislature should mandate specific voting systems so counties like Broward and Palm Beach cannot play these games.
I mailed ours...but as you say this is Broward county.
Hi.
We along with thousands of other FReepers stopped the SECOND recount in PB, Broward and Dade counties in November of 2000.
If we hadn’t, Bush would have lost.
Maybe it’s time again?

They need to find enough votes to re-elect Nelson. Last I checked, they were only 30,262 short. I’m sure somebody went home with just enough in their trunk. If not, then they will invent them.
Scott and Deslentas are not going to roll over.
That should be South Florida. We don’t have such problems in my county.
But there was another victimized class on the that ballot. The white woman.
People sometimes DON’T vote for all candidates on ballot.
I really don’t think this Admin will be putting up with the happy horsesh*t of the 2000 election.
And when Scott contests it then what?
Politically, they would be happier there and so would the rest of Florida.
This time around......Florida Repubs have Executive Power on their side.
Trump will know what to do.
FNC cut him off when he started that.
I was “treated” to the whole Gillum megilla......horrible.
This is not good the SOBs in this county could steal both races. Im guessing they just save Nelson to keep all from raining down on them.
Unexpected Democrat votes unexpectedly found putting her over the top?
We didn’t have problems in Brevard county either. When we lived there.
