Upset over President Trump firing Attorney General Jeff Sessions, MSNBCs Rachel Maddow is organizing mass marches.
The protests are slated for today at 5 PM.
Its happening, she wrote online. This is a break the glass in case of emergency plan to protect the Mueller investigation.
We knew this would happen at some point, she added. The day has arrived.
Maddow posted the messages to her Twitter account, which has 9.54 million followers.
The marches are being sponsored by Indivisible.org, a liberal activist group made up of former congressional staffers.
The group is demanding Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker disclaim any authority over the Robert Muellers Russia probe.
Maddows activism comes as Fox News Sean Hannity was recently criticized for appearing at a Trump rally.

The Lezbo brown blues...
Never a runaway semi load of logs when you need one.
going to the store after work to stock up on popcorn
I guess if she worked for Fox News, she would be ostracized by managment there for this.
I never found it to be such a big difference.
Of course they will only march in the heavy blue areas where everyone agrees with them already and where they outnumber anyone who would disagree.
History teaches us that they may do this to begin with,
but at some point they will carry the struggle into red
areas in hopes of creating martyrs for the cause and disheartening their opponents. Circa 1930s.
I'm glad Sessions is finally gone but he should have been gone a long time ago. Jeff Sessions is the only reason the President has been under continual investigation for two years.
I’m old enough to remember when Leftists didn’t want Jeff Sessions to even be US Attorney General.
I’m also old enough to remember when Rachel Maddow preferred hardwood floors, instead of shag carpet.
Indivisible.org, a liberal activist group made up of former congressional staffers.
I would ask (although it’s pointless.) How many of these
“staffers” are republican? Oh, none? What a farce!
We are fighting a concerted conspiracy to take over our
government. Democrat + Media working hand in hand.
Maddow is using network as a activist.. inciting protests..... committing sedition.... This isnt journalism, this is a news network leftist activism promoting violence...
They fear Matt Whitaker
Are we really talking about floors here or something more in the area of the "Y".
Rachel “WooHoo look at MEEEE!” Madcow disease.
You know you’re over the target when...
Its James Comey all over again. We hated him, but now we love him.
Yes Sir. The leftist news organizations, which is most those on TV, have been the propaganda wing of the commie/dem party forever practically. They are just doing it openly now. No turning back for them now.
The MSM/CNN/MSNBC is out of closet with a vengeance. Imagine what they would be like if they had not won the House!! The drool alone would cause flooding in the streets of Portland and Seattle.
This is a break the glass in case of emergency plan to protect the Mueller investigation.
As they say in legal parlance: Assuming facts not yet in evidence.
Trump, at his news conference, specifically said that he wanted the investigation to continue.
Wasnt it but a couple of years ago the she was pontificating and whining about the evil racist Jeff sessions?
Here is how I expect things will go down.
Whittaker has reportedly given Mueller a narrowly defined scope for his investigation. He is to stay on the Russia road and not veer from it. At the same time he reportedly slashed Mueller’s budget.
I actually expect Mueller to resign and stage a petulant press conference. “I was on the verge of unearthing some major malfeasance and really cleaning-up our elections, but President Trump decided to intervene and made it impossible for me to continue”.
That will feed right into the astroturf marches being organized. It will be loud and ugly, and possibly violent. But at the end of the day the Senate assures they can’t impeach Trump.
