A gunman has opened fire at a country music bar during a student night in the city of Thousand Oaks, California, injuring at least 11 people and killing several.
The shooter stormed the Borderline Bar and Grill wearing a black trenchcoat armed with a pistol equipped with an extended magazine and smoke grenades and began targeting people as young as 18.
Among the victims was a Ventura County deputy sheriff and a doorman - as well as a cashier and college students. The lifeless body of a suspected male victim was seen outside of the venue.

The young blond witness said he wore a mask that covered the lower half of his face.
That being said, her manner and somewhat conflicting version just seemed off somehow...still trying t o figure out why.

The Blue States are just a smorgasbord of victims and death. I am two years away from retirement in NY and there will be a thunderclap of vacuum when that day comes and I can move to a Red state where I can carry. Blue cities are not even American anymore.
I can’t help but think these sick animals fantasize about living in infamy. Maybe not releasing the name or any information about these creatures, would prevent them from fulfilling their dreams of heel stardom.

Well, anything is possible. I suppose they could have bounced him. But usually people don’t settle personal scores by shooting up a bunch of strangers.
Reports read that he has been identified. The information has not been released yet.
I wonder what the maximum occupancy was for the bar. One witness stated that after he shot the first two victims he “headed straight towards (might have been to) the office where all the cash and stuff is.” It occurs to me this may have been a robbery that went very, very, bad and that the killings were done to create mass panic while he got away. Remember there were CHP nearby which he probably did not plan on. I imagine this was well planned including knowing police/deputy response time.
One thing for sure. Hell opened to receive him.

No Catholic in me. Baptist. Southern Baptist, even. I have no problem with praying that the dead might have turned to God before they died. I reckon God knew hundreds of years ago that I’d make that prayer today. Before any of the victims was born, God knew I’d pray today.
Don’t know what a seminary graduate would say of my prayer, but I think God understands why I prayed.
I just watched Fox News report on the shooting, they had voice recording of the idiot witness that used the “submachine gun” term.
It was in fact a semi-auto pistol.
I wonder how he was dispatched, did he do it himself or did someone else put him down? If it was a civilian would they even let this fact be released?

I read he killed himself. I only had read the U.K. Mail article so I had not seen he may have been Middle Eastern according to some witness reports. Though eye witness reports are unreliable. For instance some report facial hair others did not notice any.
We do know that Muslim Terrorists (usually more than one) do target bars, restaurants, concerts, and the like. Places where large numbers of young adults are likely to gather. I should add unarmed young adults.
It is almost the anniversary of the Nov 2015 attacks in France. Might the gunman have been trying to imitate that attack?
Oh yes... The old Ca “two for the price of one” reality. If it was a civilian it will take some real arm twisting to get them to admit that a civilian gun helped take down a gun.
See this is the real problem... We have to QUESTION EVERYTHING we are being told. There is not one truly honest reliable source anymore.

And watch how the story changes and how certain witness accounts are chosen as the ones to release. To me the possibilities are,
Robbery gone wrong.
Jihad.
Columbine type killer.
Antifa- but I can’t see one of them being a lone gunman.
Notice too how the way reports are worded to lead us to certain conclusions. For example “The gunman drove his mother’s car to the scene.” First thought “crazy guy who lives in the basement who probably had multiple complaints against him for erratic behavior.” But it could also simply mean the car was registered in his mom’s name and he choose the vehicle for convenience. Which opens up the possibility of other profiles.
