BS. Her job was to take the mic. He refused to give it up and used his arm to push her arm down at the elbow thus she lost leverage in taking the mic. It’s quite arguably an assault.
I see her reaching for the mic, and his hand moving down and hitting the inside of her arm. His left hand was in a fist with the index finger pointing out . As she reaches for the mic, his left hand changes from the fist and index finger pose, then deliberately comes down to block her arm.
Accost-her definitely got physical, no matter how minor.
Fire him and and his enabler Zucker.
Give Acosta’s pass to those nice young people at Right Side Broadcasting Network.
They treat EVERYONE with respect.

Networks would be camped out on the front lawn of the girl’s mother.
They’d be calling ex-bf’s, current friends, producers would be pressuring them “but no pressure, m’kay?” to make statements like, “I’m really CONCERNED about her, we all love her so much and we pray for her to GET BETTER”

And then reporters would get her former professors on camera, extolling how sensitive she is, how studious but SHY she is...

She must have really “bumped his arm” violently for her head and shoulders to jerk forward, and put her off balance.
It’s surprising a woman that forceful couldn’t have pulled the mike out his hand.
For the sake of setting an example, he should be charged with assault. And on principle and to defend staff and prevent a hostile workplace for interns and staff, he should be banned from the White House. Come on, they cannot let this type of behavior go unanswered.

Jim’s done. He has shown “toxic masculinity” for all to see, and the rest of the WH press corps hates him, anyway. CNN will give him a long “vacation” and he’ll show up on HLN in a few months.
