I hope the intern shows up tomorrow wearing a sling on her arm, and wearing a #metoo label, and makes the rounds of daytime talk shows like the View to protest male agression and calling for the guy to be locked up. This is the most disgraceful thing I’ve seen at the White House. The young woman handled it very well considering her age.

I was taught that ASSault is the ASSumption of pain coming your way. It’s not the actual hit, it’s the movements, actions preceding the hit.

Lil Jim should be charged with Assault AND Battery, as he did both. Intentional I agree, but defensive. Not a “hit” at least not from what I’ve seen but a block. She had the right to attempt to grab the mike but at some point she is over her pay grade and steps back to let a security guy handle anything more physical. He’s an ass but he wasn’t the physical aggressor.

You’re contradicting yourself. The only thing he was defending was the microphone, not himself, and he made two downward moves with his left arm that shove her arm down to break her hold on the mic. That is the definition of aggression since she was not striking at him.
You can’t maintain that two opposing premises are true. Either she was rightfully trying to take the mic back and he aggressively knocked her arm away or he didn’t. If he didn’t then why would security have to intervene?
Cause you KNOW that if the situation were reversed, they’d be all over Trump like white on rice.
