Whitaker is reportedly taking control of the probe from Rosenstein. I missed that part in the news release. That means Muller has to brief Whitaker . And Whitaker gets to decide if he wants to release any or all of the report.

Mueller is and has been answerable to the AG. Only because Sessions recused himself that Rosenstein was ever in a position of authority. That naturally reverts to the acting AG, who is not recusing himself.
