My state is a sh*thole..LITERALLY..just elected a Governor who is all good with people taking craps on streets..at least Prop 10 failed, my Mom is a property owner, would have been HORRIBLE had the Govt been allowed to determine how much rent she was allowed to ask for

No, our voters are just really lazy and stupid. The attorney general and Secretary of State conspired to give it a misleading and summary, and the nitwits fell for it

Hope they enjoy their taxes and fees being used to scoop up human feces, while nasty diseases are being spread in the community.

As long as those California dildoes don’t mind paying higher gas taxes, I”m okay with it.

I live and vote in California, and am deeply disappointed in this ballot result. Deeply. Disappointed.

Not one damn penny will be for roads etc. It will go for shovels to pick up the crap on San Francisco and the rest of the communists controlled cities. America is finished. California is a communist State and it will get worst.

SO... the voters of California rejected the repeal of state gas tax and vehicle fee increase due to fears over a deterioration of the roads.

This means that the STATE was already getting money from the gas tax and vehicle fees. What did they do with that money if the streets STILL need to be fixed?

.
California Dems have several million fraudulent votes on hand, most of which are controlled by a handful of people.

I live in a state full of complete morons. Half the people in this state can’t afford to run their cars let alone pay the ridiculous registration fee. So, they steal the stickers off of other peoples cars. Need to get away from using the stickers and simply have a scannable license plate. Many people are removing their rear plates with the sticker and placing them in the inside of their vehicle in the rear window. Total madness. If my children were not here I would have moved to Idaho or Wyoming long ago.

Like in WA it’ll all go into the general fund to pay for free goodies to gain votes.

California Proposition 6 was Carl DeMaio's "Gas Tax Repeal"

In 2017, with virtually no notice to the public, Democrats in the California State Legislature crammed through a massive hike to the Car and Gas Tax. Carl DeMaio fought hard to get this repeal on the ballot. But the dishonest secretary of state and election officials crafted a very misleading ballot summary statement which distorted the intent and effect of the measure.

All that most californian's knew about the measure is what what was printed in the ballot:

PROP 6 ELIMINATES CERTAIN ROAD REPAIR AND TRANSPORTATION FUNDING. REQUIRES CERTAIN FUEL TAXES AND VEHICLE FEES BE APPROVED BY THE ELECTORATE. INITIATIVE CONSTITUTIONAL AMANDMENT. Repeals a 2017 transportation law's taxes and fees designated for road repairs and public transportation. Fiscal Impact: Reduced ongoing revenues of $5.1 billion from state fuel and vehicle taxes that mainly would have paid for highway and road maintenace and repairs, as well as transit programs.
San Diego Union Tribute quoted DeMaio here

http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/news/transportation/sd-me-prop6-gas-tax-20181106-story.html

"We've been a David versus Goliath camp since day one," said DeMaio, who blamed the measure’s poor showing on what he called confusing ballot language.

"We were hampered by a misleading ballot statement," he added. "This shows the politicians have been stealing our gas taxes, and now they’re trying to steal our votes."

"The politicians are trying to deceive the voters," said Carl DeMaio, chairman for Yes on Prop 6. "They are trying to bully voters into approving a measure that costs them more."

California Governor Brown, who has labeled DeMaio a "political terrorist," held his only campaign event of the season on Friday, denouncing the repeal effort at a Bay Area rally as a "scam."

In related news, California voters have the lowest IQ and reasoning ability of any in the nation. In either language.

Prop 6 lost because the crooked California AG Xavier Becerra gave the proposition a misleading title:

“Eliminates Certain Road Repair and Transportation Funding.”

Firefighter, Highway Patrol, and Civil Engineer associations ran ads against the Prop claiming it would result in bridges falling down, road repair stopping, and worse traffic.

The lesson here to Cali voters is that you can no longer trust the CHP, firefighters, and the other lying pricks who you once would have mistakenly believed to be honest.
