Florida Democrat Sen. Bill Nelson called Wednesday for a recount in his race for re-election against Republican Gov. Rick Scott.
In a statement from Nelson's office, the longtime incumbent said Scott had prematurely declared victory in the race, which CNN has not yet called. In Florida, an automatic recount is triggered when the final margin is less than .5% and is not triggered by candidate requests. Votes were still being counted Wednesday morning, but Scott's lead was within that margin, according to CNN projections. The initial vote count won't be finalized until Saturday at noon.

Remember Jill Stein? We didn’t lose any recounts in 2016. As a matter of fact I seem to recall them conceding when voter fraud was being exposed. I don[t think they will “Al Franken” this one. Too many eyes watching this time.
Fortunately the Bush v. Gore precedent has been set, and the Secretary of State is a Republican. He can certify Scott the winner and SCOTUS can smack them down citing the 14th. Amendment.
I had forgotten about Jill Stein. Hopefully, any voter fraud is exposed in the race. Thank you for the reminder.
State law mandates a recount in this situation (margin of victory less than .5%). Nelson did not agree to call off the recount, which he can do, but he’s not really forcing a recount, the law is doing that.
The recount will be by machine, same as the initial count, the results will be the same within a few ballots, no worries there. Once the Sec. of State certifies the Nov 6 results, they can recount. I don’t think any new ballots can be counted once the results are certified, so Dems can’t discover boxes of ballots in car trunks.
Democrats ALWAYS win in a RECOUNT!! They ALWAYS find votes in trunks of cars or locked in offices!

BUT, Nelson asked for the recount. So, let’s not try and make it look so gracious, CNN. We expected this from the D’s. Next stop - after the recount - will be looting, torching, and riots.
