There were tremors all over Texas Tuesday night, and it didn’t have anything at all to do with any “blue tsunamis” rolling in from the Gulf.
Instead, triggered Beto O’Rourke supporters were “literally shaking” all over Twitter as Ted Cruz sent their hero packing.

That may be true. However, the amount of money spent on some of these races was staggering. Beto's commercials were on TV ALL THE TIME. The same was true of Lizzie Fletcher, who unseated John Culberson. Also, Cruz is not the most attractive candidate. He comes off as studied and supercilious, and his stunt at the RNC did not help hi re-election campaign.
I donated to Cruz, but the grass-roots contributions of people like me are nothing compared to the Soros and Hollywood dollars that flowed into Beto's campaign.
Yes, that’s a fact. It’s happening before our eyes here in what used to be a staunchly red county (Williamson) and congressional district.

It is true that flawed Republican candidates are no longer a shoo-in just because they have an “R” next to their name.
Candidates have to up their game, if they do, they should be fine.
They are gonna have to import more real Mexicans.....................
Progressive politicians and ideas should be fought tooth and nail on all fronts. Unfortunately, generational and demographic factors work against a conservative future...unless something happens that clearly defines the awful consequences of progressive government.
