While Tuesday night was not a complete win for Republicans, there was no blue wave, either. By most measures, Republicans beat the odds of history and nearly everyones expectations, while Democrats were left disappointed as the fantasy of Beto ORourke, Andrew Gillum, Stacey Abrams and others winning fizzled. Not one new progressive Democrat was successful bursting onto the scene. It will take a few days to process the meaning of this years election returns, but the instant analysis is clear: Democrats may have won the House, but Trump won the election.

Jobs not mobs.
We all knew the problem of houserinos. They had to go for the health of the nation.
This was a unnecessary set back thanks to Ryano and Co.
Trump got the second best outcome possible. As voters, we got a good outcome - gridlock. The biggest losers will be all the peoples lives that are ruined by Democrat investigations. They’ll be digging through Trumps taxes faster than a pizza disappears at a Weight Watchers meeting.
I was feeling OK last night but this morning I’m mad.
Look at what all these lunatics have done in the last 2 years in the middle of a thriving economy lower taxes trying to get tough on border control Americans went out and voted for these lunatics I can’t even imagine it.

Here comes “President” Mueller.
Me too! Thanks for posting that article.....can’t believe it was from the Washington Compost! How sweet it is!
Does anyone have any idea on how many special House elections there are going to be in this Congress? If the Dems have 219 seats they could lose the gavel every time it comes up. That should be an ameliorating factor on the nutty Dems impulses, and, a lighthouse in the fog for our side.....
So then, the Dems made modest gains in the House, but less than expected.
And the Republicans gained more Sensre seats than expected.
And the GOP won some key governors races.
It’s tough time lose the House, but, that was expected.
If measured against expectations and punditry, the GOP had a very good election.
The Democrats in the House will launch their crusade against Trump, but what are the odds that this crusade will give them results and a record to run on in 2020?
And Maxine Waters will be fleecing the banks and the financial industry until they all make her richer than Croesus. Well be lucky if they dont destroy our banking industry again.
Will the loss of hor mean unredacted Fisa apps and emails etc AND a special counsel?
I’m not ready to drop spygate...
Precisely. The only thing Trump was unable to do was rebuild the House Republican Party and keep the Democrats out of the majority in one election. In 2020 that will be a different situation.
Wonder if Sparticus friends in the House will embarrass themselves the way he and his Senate comrades did. And what Trumps personnel moves will be.
Oh my sides.
I thought that Ocasio-Cortez won. Is she no longer a new progressive star?

Pelosi et al will put forth every ridiculous gender bending bill, nonsensical anti-religious laws, and waste everyone’s time with fluff and stupidity.
President Trump uses opposition’s works and words to foil their goals.
The worst thing the left has done is to underestimate the man. They cannot help themselves. They are, and will continue to think of themselves as the smartest people in the room. To do anything less is to admit a truth they cannot tolerate.
It’s especially impressive given the 24X7, uninterrupted Marxist Media slander and smear carpet-bombing campaign for two straight years. Who else could have survived that socialist onslaught?
Yes she’s still a rising Star but her election was expected.
And she’s been prominent on the political scene since her primary election victory.
