Vanity: Paul Ryan to Blame for House Losses
VANITY
Posted on 11/06/2018 9:32:38 PM PST by TigerClaws
Did nothing of value as Speaker. Didn't discourage at least half of those looking to retire into sticking around another two years where we could have maintained control.
He lined up his K Street job and started throwing bombs towards Trump (which he also did a few days before the 2016 election).
Trump worked and saved the Senate and made the difference in some key governor races. Tonight was not a Trump defeat.
Part of it was history -- midterm election usually results in out of power party winning. But this was winnable.
Ryan blew the House.

The GOP Reps who voted him in as Speaker are responsible.
To: TigerClaws
This is 100% correct.
The House had its chance. It blew it.
All of the things they talked about for years and years; give us the House, the Senate and a President and we’ll get it done.
LIES LIES LIES LIES LIES!
What difference was there between Speaker Ryan and Pelosi when it came to what happened?

Remember when he said he couldn't support Trump. Right now. Then couldn't fund the wall. Right now.
Mission accomplished.
My job is done here.

Ryan was a zero as Romney’s running mate, seems like he became Speaker as a conniver, Why did he remain speaker while retiring, always a RINO coward undercutting Trump. Did pass the tax cuts but overall he’s a loser.

Nope. McCain was. Had he voted on the health care bill, it would not have been an issue today.

Ryan is a convenient whipping boy but there is lots of blame to go around including less than dazzling candidates.

“Didn't discourage at least half of those looking to retire into sticking around another two years where we could have maintained control.” He didn't discourage any of those looking to retire from doing it. Time may show that he helped convinced many Republican Representatives to retire. He has been nothing but a treacherous Never-Trumper from day 1.

Paul Ryan should be taken out behind the woodshed. We were doing so well with Trump's programs, despite the unbelievable interference about utter nonsense from the dummocraps. Now, losing the House, Trump will have to spend a lot more of his time running down fake charges, impeachment attempts, and every other kind of nonsense, clearly showing that the dummocraps do not care at all about America or its people, only about power and how to "transform" this beautiful country into a s___hole like Europe. I'd like to charge the dummocraps who voted libtards into the House with theft of services; they will be taking my President's time and attention away from national defense, foreign relations, the economy, etc., piling on nonsensical charges and accusations, just like the Russia thing, and at the same time, wasting millions upon millions of our tax dollars on it, instead of using them for national defense, infrastructure improvements, etc.

To be fair the House passed a lot of good bills that died in the Senate, like repeal and replace Obamacare. Thank John McCain for that one. And the Democrats picked a lot of good local candidates, in the sense that they matched their districts. Lots of ex-military, moderate sounding people in suburban districts. Republicans need to find good people to run against them in 2020.

Look at it as the last gasp of the betamale/cuck wing of the GOPe. Ryan and his butthurt are now gone. Corker, Flake and their butthurts are gone. Kasich and Jeb! are unelectable. McStain is dead. Graham has veered right. Trump now owns the GOP.
Trump will spend the next 2 years stuffing the courts with conservatives. The GOP will retake the House and keep the White House in 2020. Good times are ahead.
