Tell me someone, I have no TV, but I presume there was NOT any blue wave, not even a light blue wave. It was pretty much a tie, and for midterms the Democrats were supposed to come out ahead, so they lost... I say if anyone needs to be feeling good, and going to be happy are the Trump supporters. Wow, if that’s how you describe “outperformed,” I just wonder what “close” would be to this reporter. That wasn’t the election I watched tonight! Cruz barely escaped with his a$$ in tact! I am still in a state of shock that Texas would essentially split right down the middle on Cruz. He’s got less than a 3% lead in a state that Trump carried by 10 points two years ago!
Awesome news. Now Beto can go free to try his luck campaigning for president or governor whatever else it is failed candidates do.
And Ted having to eat humble crow from Trump for the rest of his term is just a bonus. Probably makes for some awkward conversations in the Cruz household.
