I agree with all that. I never said republicans were smart. They stuck the knife into themselves.
What if they have only a 2 to 3 seat advantage. The first thing they do in a new Congress is elect a Speaker. Now you have these Dems that ran on they will never vote for Pelosi. So if it is Pelosi an a Repub running and they don't vote for Pelosi ( or abstain), a Repub could be elected Speaker. I know it would never happen, but would be funnty if it did,
My guys were raised with Rush Limbaugh etc piped in, and they were freeping in their strollers, but they aren’t hard core conservatives. One is libertarian-ish, and loves to argue, and the other is apolitical but agrees with me on issues. He didn’t vote (he’s in college and registered here). But they are sensible and thoughtful and logical. They are good people and they cook and do laundry.
I can’t see the point of putting down the entire generation. They can’t help it that they were the first generation where the parents would lose custody if we let them wander the neighborhoods like our generation could. They had to be supervised always or we parents would be blamed for anything that happened. And it’s not their fault that they grew up with gameboys etc. so what? One of mine went into the gaming industry, so his gaming didn’t hurt him. The other gets to game online with his far flung friends. That is how they still stay connected.
When they closed the doors the people in line at the time, by law were allowed to vote. They are not allowed to announce anything until all voted.
She is DSA and very much one of the crazy communists. She doesn’t look it, but she is as extreme if not more so than Maxine Waters but has more sense about what she says in public.

I have been viewing the NYT interactive maps all night. They have been dragging their feet in acknowledging R victories. Therefore, I expect all the results to shift in the R’s favor at the very end.
