FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) — People in one north Fort Worth neighborhood woke up Thursday morning to several signs with a head-scratching message on them.
The signs were posted up and down Waverly Lane on lamp posts and other pieces of public property and read “It’s okay to be white.”
The origin of the signs and the intended meaning of the words are a mystery, but some neighbors were quick to react and took them down because some perceived them to be discriminatory.
At this point, no one knows if the signs were meant as a prank or something more serious.
Councilman Cary Moon, who represents the district, said this all comes on the heels of a report sent to council members about other anti-immigrant and discriminatory signs and banners placed in other parts of the city.
“I condemn any type of literature sign that is posted that may be offensive to some folks,” Moon said.
By lunchtime Thursday, all of the signs were taken down, but Moon advised neighbors who see more of the same to call police immediately so they can investigate.
He said people taking them down themselves might interfere with investigations and collection of evidence.

Its both surreal and funny that saying “its OK to be White”....without so much as mentioning anybody else....is called “racist” by the extreme Left.
Yet we all know saying “Its OK to be (insert grievance group here)” would never be called racist. Seems to be those who call it racist are themselves the real racists. They obviously don’t think its OK to be White.

I have, however, seen a whole lot of so called white people in skin shades ranging from light pink to dark tan.
Also, in the 16 years when I lived in Japan, I'd guess that nearly 40% of the natives I saw there had lighter skin than me. Another 40% or so had darker and 20% were too close to tell much difference.
This began as a 4Chan troll job meant to prove a point.
Someone there suggested to hang up flyers saying “It’s okay to be white.”
If something his innocuous results in outrage, it’d prove that anti white racism has taken over America.

It’s now national news if a whites person says something racist if there’s video.
This shows (1) it’s so rare it’s “news” when it happens and (2) the media wants to push a narrative of racial division and black victimhood.

the white lady who was traveling to Africa and said something about not catching AIDS. She was fired from her job before she landed and ridiculed globally.
At least every other day there’s a story like this and the story goes ‘viral.’
