The final Rasmussen Reports Generic Congressional Ballot before Election Day shows Republicans edging ahead by one point, but in essence, the two parties are tied. The survey has a +/-2 percentage point margin of error.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds that 46% would choose the Republican candidate if the elections for Congress were held today. Forty-five percent (45%) would vote for the Democrat.

The first and only time all year the Repubs have had any kind of lead. Interesting
Most people around here poopoo Rasmussen when his polls show libs in the lead, not sure why they'd like his methods when they don't.

Thanks for this. Ras is always interesting, so I like to see confirmation from elsewhere. CNN’s is a big Dem lead but basically exactly the same as early in October, so it can safely be thrown out as not accurate since it didn’t even show a Kavanaugh bounce when everybody else did.
I still think the House is close. We could lose it. I am concerned with some of the NYT live polling, such as Sessions losing last night in their poll. That’s concerning, but I also find it hard to believe.

Rasmussen’s presidential poll has Trump at 50% approval the day before the election. That should translate into Republican gains if people see this as a referendum on Trump’s performance.

I’m pretty sure 2010 was an R+1 election. I don’t remember what 2014 was.

5) I wont lie: the House races are all very close. Yes, a sudden shift could have us lose by 5. But an equally sudden shift could have us win and hold all but 8 seats net. These are all, almost every one, very close races and many will depend on indies.I agree, the polling on some of these races is very old or essentially nonexistent.

This means Republican’s are ahead. I’m not the only conservative that does not participate in polls.

This means Republicans are ahead. Im not the only conservative that does not participate in polls. No you are not alone. Most conservatives automatically assume that any pollster is either a scam artist or working for leftists. My wife and I refuse to answer questions from any of them. The only reservations that I have relates to the amount of cheating the Democrats will be able to perpetrate in the next two days.
