In Georgia, a red and pro-gun rights state, Abrams past anti-gun history should energize Republican voters, especially gun rights voters, since she has supported AR-15 bans and gun confiscation in the past. This election will be a test to see if the Atlanta region is whats going to carry the state, and if its Democratic power base is enough to overwhelm the deep red rural counties around it. Whats even more disconcerting is Abrams saying that support for these unconstitutional policies were just a way to start a conversation. She said this to CNNs Jake Tapper this morning. Earlier this week, on The View, she gave the similar, Im not anti-gun, but I support gun bans/confiscation nonsense (via Free Beacon):

When Im king, use of the terms start a conversation, bombshell, and dog whistle will be capital offenses. And yes, misusing literally will literally get you a firing squad.
Bring up a good point - Hotlanta is now nearly its own City-State.
The same can be seen elsewhere:
Alaska (Anchorage,)
Arizona (Phoenix metroplex),
COlo - Denver metroplex and so on.
We already finished that conversation. “Shall not be infringed.” There is nothing else to say on the topic of our individual, God-given right to keep and bear arms, except that many of us took an oath - one with no expiration date. The thugs on the left would be wise to consider how much grabbing for absolute power over others really is worth to them. I’m a peaceful person, or at least that is my preference, but I doubt that many of those who took the same oath are willing to surrender their means of self-defense in the face of petty (and not so petty) tyrants.
More like just a way to suppress a conversation. Take your pick, incompetence or Facist.
“...Just A Way To Start A Conversation...”
...and a GREAT way to end a political career.
Several years ago the State of Atlanta decided to change the state flag even though the rest of the state didn’t want it changed.
That flag was rassiss I tell ya. The thing is, the current state flag is more confederate than the old one. The old one was the Battle Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia. The current flag was the confederate national flag (officially adopted 3 weeks before the war ended) but that’s ok cause it ain’t rassiss, or something.
May I add:
Intersectionality
Gender Identity
Woke
LGBTQ (to be replaced with something useful, E-G-B-D-F / F-A-C-E)
My Truth
Pronoun Abuse
Etc.
So, then liberals would be OK with:
Let’s kill all Democrats: It Was Just A Way To Start A Conversation.
Lost NV Vegas.
I’ve often wondered why, if states put in place state laws for elections, why they dont change the laws to establish an electoral college type system for the state. If California can change their system to a jungle primary to ensure only dems run against other dems, why can’t states change their laws to ensure urban hubs in the state do not control the entire state agenda.
By royal decree I will add those to the list of capital offenses. However, using apostrophes to pluralize nouns will only get a flogging. Im not a barbarian, you know.
Took my oath (from my dad) 51+ years ago. No “Use by “ date to be found.
States used to do that, if I understand you correctly. That was changed by the USSC in 1964 with ‘Reynolds v. Sims’.
Lol, haven’t seen that infraction. Mercy is good. Unfortunately these abusers of words seem so resistant to it.
The Dims think it’s so cool to say this.
“Start a conversation” = I would put you in a gulag if I could, but until then...
“GA GOV: Democrat On Support For Gun Confiscation: It Was Just A Way To Start A Conversation”
It’s a way to start a revolution.
