What I do not get is WHY the parents of these kids did not take this to the police?

Could be they never knew, maybe the "priests" threatened the kids not to talk...that happens.

However to your question, some people did know, maybe it was one of those "everybody knew" deals. Remember the parents of the kids that "slept" with Michael Jackson?

My grandmother left the Catholic Church in the 1940s...in Germany, because: "The Priests went after the young boys".

I was a kid when she told me that, I had no idea what she was talking about. I thought she meant they yelled at them or something.

I get it brother and used to think the same way until I realized I was being used for the other side. I know you realize it is used primarily to explain God away.

Pollster Frank Luntz on Hungry Howie said he sees no predictive value in polling this time around. Luntz was amazed at what was happening with polling.

Saw MR. Discount Carpet for hair in that segment.

To me all these gurus are just trying to stay relevant, and know there is a lot of rigging/slanting going on so they hedge their bets by acting informed but not quite enough so they keep their subscribers / fools who use them as consultants.

Frankly, I am amazed what is happening with the press/media in general. We all know they’ve been biased for decades but the last couple of years have been unprecedented.

The same bias is reflected in their polling.

So, two years ago, almost ALL of them got it wrong—dead wrong.

Have you seen any who apologized and said they’re going to change things and make their polling techniques more accurate to reflect the mistakes they made? ANY lessons learned?

NO.

Nothing has changed from what I can see. The same sample sizes. The same over polling of democrats as a percentage. Not tracking people who don’t have fixed phones, or worse, using online polls with people who have an agenda as the baseline or reasons to take the online poll, rather than completely random.

Everything about polling that stank and was wrong in 2016 stinks and is wrong now.

Sorry to have to come back to this thread with Pelosi now going to be in charge. I hope the 10+ seats won’t give her enough power to run roughshod over the Republicans but Y’all know when the dems get power, they use it.

Republicans? Spit!

Now’s the time to regroup and figure out how to fire her and the dems.

I am a little concerned about my fellow Americans that so many voted democrat.

Our focus on this thread has always been about the media. You know they WERE the democratic party when it came to coverage. Without that, I do think the House would have remained GOP.

However, had the media been fair SO MANY wrongs things about this country would have NEVER happened!

Equally complicit in all of this is Paul Rino. He could have removed Healthcare from the debate and the wall .
