Where have millennial men gone? Updated 20 hours ago
Millennial males have been dropping out of the U.S. workforce faster than any other age and gender demographic. Half a million more men aged 25 to 34 would be working now if, like women and some other groups, their participation had returned to pre-crisis levels or better, Bureau of Labor statistics show. Reasons include increased rates of school and training, as well as disability and illness. Other factors feeding into the phenomenon:
*Fewer high-paying manufacturing and mining jobs *More young adults living at home *Better video games *Increased opioid use

There is hope. My son recently received his bachelor’s degree, moved across the US, and is happily employed in an engineering consulting services corporation.
I hear you sister.
Its simple. They are being displaced by women in the workforce.
Of course, they have grown up as low-T/sperm count, drugged through school, accused of group historical and current guilt from the start.
Then bribed with disability and other payments to lure them off the productive path. Family dynamics they have seen have been as much a horror as a model for them to aspire to forming and supporting.
We’ve got our work cut out for ourselves...
All I’m saying is 50 years of belittling takes a toll. People do get beaten down. Not all obviously, but some number are susceptible.
Better video games, and more young adults living at home???
So then, are the middle age parents just letting their adult children lay around the house and do nothing but play???
I could never have done that. We were expected to go out in the world and be productive independent adults .
Indeed, we wanted that. We wanted to be adults in all ways, including living on our own and paying our own bills.
*It’s easy to see why they withdraw into Mommy’s basement and turn to drugs, if they cannot find something to do with their lives that matters.*
Astute observation, thanks for posting.
Correct. If you listen to the import of this message, its saying - you are 2nd class citizens
Been called a lot of things. Never a unicorn.
At 33 years of age, I am considered a millennial. I’m also a welder and mechanic, and captain of the shrimp boat Isaias. Did a lot of real dirty work to get where I am. I own almost triple digits of firearms, and do light gunsmithing on the side. I married a beautiful Mexican woman in Brownsville because feminism has made American women a lost cause
No one is as disgusted as me in my own generation, but even so, there are some swinging d!cks among us
You stole the land now known as America
You stole the labor that improved it
When you hit on a woman, that’s rape
If you hire the best engineer and he’s a guy? You’re a misogynist. If he’s white then you hate blacks.
Tell a lady her dress is nice? You’re fired
Most churches are feminized —Jesus is your boyfriend
Bed a woman? Or maybe you didn’t but went to school in the same county..? She can smear you 30 YEARS LATER
Get friendly with a woman at your company? She scams on you but you’re not interested? She can easily make up something about you, get you fired
HAPPENS ALL THE TIME
Men are withdrawing and it’s pretty logical.
My wife told the kids they were welcome to move back in after college if they needed to. I told our kids the same thing, but handed each of them a McDonald's application and said that could help them to pay their rent if they needed to move in. There is nothing like clear expectations for improving motivation.
"Uh....oh, wait..."
Life can be pretty inexpensive if you decide getting hitched makes no sense in today’s legal and psycho radfem social environment.
Who needs a dopey man?
As long as she has fresh batteries.
Oh you done done it now, the FR wet hen brigade will now descend to browbeat and castigate you for daring to not put up with their $#!+, lol.
I work with these youngsters after they become drug addicts. After we get them off the shit, teach them how to clean up, get jobs, etc...you would be amazed at the fatalism in them. One young man told me recently, “We can’t say or do anything. Everybody is offended about everything.”
