Wow: The last big jobs report before Election Day brought unadulterated excellent news.
Year-over-year wage growth above 3 percent for the first time in nearly a decade. Payrolls adding 250,000 new jobs, well above expectations. Unemployment unchanged at 3.7 percent, a 49-year low — and the rate would have dropped, except that more people returned to the labor force.
That last is huge, for two reasons:
l First, it means Americans who had given up hope of finding work are back in the fight. That’s a major plus for society.
l Second, it suggests that the nation isn’t up against a growth-killing (or inflationary) labor shortage — because millions of others still haven’t returned to the job hunt.

IF more people are returning to the labor force- then WELFARE should be dropping in like numbers.
It is. Not as quickly, because Welfare is now for the working class. That’s why I say F*** off to the restauranteurs and food processors who want to import illegals so they can keep paying 7 an hour: we have to fill in the distance between that and what it takes to feed, clothe. House educate and provide healthcare for their workers’ kids.
Bammy taking credit for it. Just like he blamed Bush for 6 years for the bad economy. The same economy that he now calls an “improving” economy, that he takes credit for.
So, in 2014, he was blaming Bush for the bad economy. In 2018, he’s complimenting himself for 2014’s improving economy.
