ap:fake news
Yep. That’s the side AP is on.
This might hurt coyote business.
Razor wire would make me tense if I we’re on the wrong side of it.
Good news. Let us hope the invaders get real tense...and go home.
“Perceptions of a dysfunctional border”!!!
It IS a dysfunctional border!
I would LOVE to microwave that crowd!
AP=Super turds. Lying about this issue is NOT beneficial to national security.
Any loyal American would be happy to see our troops defending our nation against invasion.
Who are these people complaining about it?
Yes, for weenie boy pansy MSM, it would be tense...
Noooo.. Invading foreigners make things “tense” on the border.
They are always able to locate the “some Valley residents” who think this way, while ignoring what “most Valley residents” think.
‘U.S. border towns consistently ranking among the safest in the country.’
Flat out lie and BS.
TWB
Anything creates tension with the wimpy, low-IQ AP liars. Give us a platoon of AP wimps VS two cub scouts, and I’ll bet money that the cub scouts will kick butt.
I wonder if these “supposed” concerned citizens would like to entertain the ISIS members of this invasion or any of the “military age” males who have criminal records among the invasion group?
I would think they should be very grateful for the US military presence to protect them and this nation!
Any Texas Freepers care to comment on how peaceful it was at the border before today?
The whole story is full of editorial comments. FAKE
LOL! Ya, right! When one thinks of the Rio Grande "Valley" we never think of illegals crossing and confrontations with Border Patrol. I know that I want to visit the Rio Grande Valley and this tarnishes it!!
Boo.Hoo. The drug cartels and human smugglers hate having 10,000 soldiers on the border. It’s bad for business.
Some Valley residents...fear it will tarnish the areas image.Image? The only image I have for the entire border is that it is as porous as Swiss cheese, drug mules have free passage, coyotes bring in illegals by the hundreds or thousands, cartels are shooting into the United States from Mexico, border agents are being murdered, the desert is FILLED with garbage, and ranchers are scared to death when encountering illegals and cartels on their own ranches. How the HELL can that image be any more "tarnished" than it already is?
Besides, who cares if the image is "tarnished"? It's not like the border is a nice tourist destination anyway.
“And some are afraid of violence if and when the caravan of Central American migrants that the troops have been sent to confront reaches the U.S. border.”
uh, yeah. right. I’m sure they’d much rather have thousands of these invaders simply march onto their properties and camp out indefinitely ... this article is nothing but totally fake news from AP ...
