NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A Tennessee inmate's final words were "let's rock" moments before he became the first man executed in the electric chair in that state since 2007, put to death for the killings of two men during a drug deal-turned-robbery decades ago.

Texas has 224 death row inmates. They’re average length of stay is 16 years. Many have been on death row for 30 to over 40 years. Did they give their victims an extra 40 years to live?

Sounds like you know what it feels like? Have You ever been hit by a freight train? I can tell you I’d prefer the electric chair to two 7.62mm rounds as I know what they felt like. Imagine feeling like someone is continuously hitting your upper thigh hip area with a 16 lb. sledge hammer and you get no relief for 20-30 minutes when a medic finally gives you a morphine shot.
