Today show weatherman Al Roker is under fire for dressing up on Halloween as Doc Brown, the quirky and white time machine inventor in the Back to the Future trilogy.
Some social media users asked why it was all right for him to dress up as a Caucasian character, while NBC canceled his colleague Megyn Kellys show after her controversial blackface comments.
Im going to say this one last time, but the folks who get it, understand and the ones who DONT, wont, Roker tweeted to explain why his 80s-themed costume was not an example of whiteface.
I can be Doc Brown, and I wear the outfit and wig and not change my skin color if youre white, you can be President Obama if you want. Just dont color your skin!

Roker is not racist...... roker is a fat joke
Because accusing the maid of murder would be racist
Megyn Kelly should have dressed up as Al Roker dressed up as Doc Brown.
Something about this smells bad to me...
Funny thing, Al, you didn't have a problem when your network gave a blackface performer his own primetime show, and further, didn't say a peep about him appearing on the Today Show on October 4 of this year. But unlike you, I'm happy to repeat that as often as it takes for people to get it.
The liberals will ALWAYS have the upperhand at making stupid “rules”, though. Because they will always say that oppression, white supremacy, or whatever other victimhood they choose to invoke, is a direct result of white people.

Old crap in his pants Roker, looks racist to me.
I thought we had established that you can only dress up as the ethnic group you are, not anything else?
I thought that to do otherwise would lead to imprisonment and loss of livelihood?
I think ALL of us should compete for who’s racial group has the thinnest skin and what group qualifies for ‘hysterical drama queen’ of all groups.
Then we can hand out the ‘Assh*les of the World’ award to the winner.
I know seeing a black person dressed up as a white person triggers my fragile being - and makes me cry for a safe place... and makes me want to sue and have the person fired. /s (OK, that said I do believe it’s racist to do black face this soon after the end of Jim Crow - but in another decade or two it should be banned as a pity party ploy)
Can you imagine what would happen if Savanah Guthrie dressed up as Oda Mae Brown with a Whoopie wig?
Either both things are racist or neither is.
Why didn’t he just go as ET? He already looks like him!
Sorry Al Roker. The wig that you are wearing for your costume depicts a white person's hair.
So using your own silly PC standards, you are being racist and a hypocritical racist at that.
If he wanted to dress up as a fictional African-American scientist, he could do Neil deGrasse Tyson.
Or when the Wayans brothers made "White Chicks" ..
Oh yeah...forgot that flick. Thanks for reminding me. I remember watching it, and finding it funny.
Side note - Al Roker looks in bad health.
