A North Carolina Professor wants her students to block Fox News from their parents. Think about that, parents are paying for their kids to go to a school that’s indoctrinating them and telling them to do the same to their parents.
“When they’re not looking, set the parental controls on the TVs of your family members to block Fox News,” the handout said. “Fox News spreads bigotry and hatred,” she wrote.
The so-called teacher is afraid of the totalitarian government? She’s totalitarian and she’s nuts.
At one point she said that after the Pittsburgh murders, Fox News had a guest on sending out dog whistles.
She picked some very far-left people for them to follow on Twitter.
The paper also asks students to read “real news,” and includes sources like NBC, MSNBC and The New York Times among many others.

I gave up trying to watch the Shouting matches, I just come to FR and read the news and comments in peace and quite. Hubby controls the Remote, Votes RED so I don’t care what he watches, which is NASCAR, Cars, Forged in Fire, those type things. Never had much off a TV habit, unless it was a good movie. We catch the first 15 mins of local news, mostly crime and weather.
I heard that. I went to college in the mid to late 90s. The engineering profs just taught the subject. I went after a 6 year enlistment in the Navy, so I wasn’t intimidated by the process or the few BS-ers in authority that liked to intimidate the kids for fun.
One thing that torqued me off was the general ed requirements. I ran into some real buffoons there talking their liberal/pro-communist crap. Just had to put my head down and get through it. I was so glad that I was an engineering student. The prerequisite math, chemistry, and physics teachers didn’t do that crap. The engineering profs didn’t, either.
Like you, I just wanted to get through it and go get an engineering job. I’m glad I wasn’t distracted by the parties and girls, most of them were 7-8 years younger than me and were totally worthless. I met my wife after I got a real job.
I got a master’s degree online (mechanical engineering).
That wasn’t bad. It was JUST engineering classes, no general ed crap. Being 40 years old and a working engineer for 10 years, they treated me like a colleague instead of a kid that’s a waste of their time.
Same Commie crap.
That’s it right there. The silver ponytails run the place. That’s the biggest problem, you have to get past them to get a degree. They’ve completely destroyed the non-science/non-math/non-engineering degrees, it’s just diploma-mill garbage now. Anything that the liberals get a hold of, they suck the life out of it and destroy it.
Do you all remember when lefties championed free speech? Where are all those old hippies now? Either they have lost their soul, or they are dead.
I did grad school right out of undergrad, but was also working a FOR REAL job as well. I didn't have time for "garbage" and fortunately, my profs, in grad school, weren't pushing lefty crap, even though the place was/in in NYC!
