Democratic Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill sparked a fierce backlash from a Democratic legislator in her home state after listing her as an example of a “crazy Democrat.”

In a scathing series of tweets on Monday and Tuesday, Missouri Democratic state Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal referred to McCaskill as “Dixie Claire,” described her as a “piece of shit,” compared her to a slave owner and accused “McCaskill and her racist democratic friends” of alienating the party’s base voters.

McCaskill raised eyebrows in the final weeks of the midterm campaign by running a radio ad that described McCaskill as “not one of those crazy Democrats.”

I’m dating somebody new. I need to figure out: 1) Do I stay in and watch election results? 2) Do I stay in, have her over, and keep the TV off? Leaning heavily toward 2, but tempted by 1.

1. Late afternoon date.
2. If she is a conservative take her home to watch the results.
3. If we win you could well have celebration sex.
4. If we lose you might have consolation sex after much drink but that entails a Kavanaugh sized risk, tread lightly.
5. If lady is not a conservative, get rid of her post haste before she makes your life hell. Put out an emergency plea for a conservative woman to watch the returns.

She’s not a liberal, but she’s not a rock-ribbed, politically aware conservative.

She’s of the party, Leave Me Be. Small government, pro-life, pro-gun (but doesn’t like them), and she’s pretty amazing in terms of her commitment to kids.

I’m pretty lucky, because up here near Seattle, it is a mess.

My wife is not particularly outwardly political but has a lot of common sense.
I know she does right in the voting booth because I know how she lives and her values. I don’t have to tell her anything, and she even offers to make me a sandwich quite often.

Relative to the 2016 presidential election I thought I was going to a funeral. I watched only Fox News at first. When the election was called for Donald Trump I watched CNN and MSNBC so I could drink greatly from their pain. It tasted great.
