Barbra Streisand: ‘Doesn’t matter’ if I offend Trump supporters with my music

American singer Barbra Streisand said "it doesn’t matter" if her new music offends supporters of President Trump in an interview with New York Times released Tuesday.
Streisand discussed her new, politically driven album "Walls," which does not hold back in its criticism.
"I would lie awake at night with Trump’s outrages running through my head, and I had to do another album for Columbia Records, so I thought, why not make an album about what’s on my mind?" she explained.
Asked if she felt that artists had an obligation to be more involved in politics now, Streisand explained that she felt motivated to speak as a person rather than a musician.
"But me in real life is more important than me as the artist," she said. "As a citizen, that’s the role."
Streisand has been a frequent critic of the Trump administration, calling the president “fat egg, sitting on a wall, and one day he’s going to fall off the wall” in an interview with The Guardian earlier in October, alluding to the Humpy Dumpty nursery rhyme.
She has also been a vocal supporter of Democrats ahead of the midterm elections next week.

Most stars truly don’t care if they loses supporters. They don’t make the connection. I had the chance to ask Jack Black about this years ago ... he just shrugged and smiled. He didn’t care.

Nothing from Barbara Streisand has mattered in about 30 years, so her statement is true.
Someone else wrote all the songs for her, she is just a singer....
Well, Babs, as long as we not worried about offending one another. I have always thought your music sucked. Listening to it is only slightly more enjoyable than listening to the garbage truck going down the street. As you can guess I’m not buying your music nor will I listen to it if someone else buys it for me (and depending on who it is, I might suggest they take it back and get a refund).
