Politics in 2018 is a nightmarish hellscape that is largely devoid of heroes, so let us take a brief moment to revel in the astonishing stupidity of one of its third-tier villains: Jacob Wohl, who you may recognize as the greasy 20-year-old doofus who pops up first in the replies below every other Donald Trump tweet. This delightful tale began on Monday, when the disgraced teenaged hedge fund genius posted a tantalizing hint about a major forthcoming news story:
Special counsel Robert Mueller, the evil mastermind behind the insidious left-wing plot to take down Wohl's beloved president, has been hiding a dark past from the American people all along.
Alas, Wohl's prediction was a fervent bit of wishcasting, because it sure seems—seems—that he and his crew of MAGA-adjacent dorks cooked up the entire thing themselves. According to NBC News, several reporters were told in recent weeks that a mysterious individual had offered various women $20,000 to claim that Mueller, while an attorney in private practice in the mid-1970s, and engaged in some form of sexual misconduct. Independently of one another, those reporters determined that literally none of the relevant aspects of the story checked out, and so they passed along the tip to the special counsel's office, which in turn referred it to the FBI for investigation.

that was my thought as well - no woman has been identified, no person has been identified. Just that the right has been accused of trying to smear a guy who should already be smeared enough by his meandering “investigation” and his participation in the Whitey Bulger affair

“Whitey Bulger” Just conveniently died, he had a lot of dealings with Mueller and indicated he was about to talk about corrupt FBI agents when we was suddenly moved to another prison where old enemies had open access to him.
The enemedia might be grinning because the Mueller accusations might be false, but that’s just whistling past the graveyard.
When you have lost your credibility it doesn’t matter if you occasionally report the truth.

I read the filing. There is a witness to the initial approach he made. Somebody was there at the bar in the hotel when he approached the victim.
The details of the assault were pretty specific. Certainly, much more specific than Blasey’s were.
Mueller’s pre-emptive allegation that she was paid to come forward, however, has no substantiation as yet. Curious that he made the allegation PRIOR to the filing of the charges and the announcement.
Statute of limitations may be an issue. I don’t remember when the incident occurred. Add to that Whitey Bulger dying and this is starting to feel like someone has the goods on Mueller and is beginning to use them. Bulger and Mueller have long history.

And wasn’t it coincidental that Herr Mueller came out with his denials even before GP and others broke the story that he was being charged.
Sure sounds to me like Mueller himself made up the charges, had Whitey murdered, and denied the charges all before the story even became a story.

Yup. I knew this story was a set-up to make conservatives look like hypocrites from the start. Jim Hoft and the rest of those fools deserve what they get.
If I was afraid of being called a Conspiracy Theorist, which I’m not because a whole lot of historical events were caused by baddies who got together and planned for bad things to happen, I’d say that Hoft and GP were Deep State controlled opposition. But I’ll give these Bozos the benefit of the doubt and call them just plain stupid.
Bulger and Mueller *had* long history.
Mueller's dark past is in his effect on the FBI. He turned it into an Islamic Church.

It almost sounds like a reverse O’Keefe operation. Fabricate a narrative almost every conservative wants to hear, tell the mark what they want to hear and you’re halfway home. Concoct a story with details which can be proven false and feed the story to some young eager beaver conservative blogger looking to make his mark. Then just sit back and revel in the lolz as the conservative outlets pushing the story are made to look like fools. It’s reminiscent of the op he tried to pull last year on the WaPo with the woman who tried to claim that Roy Moore raped and impregnated her as a teenager then had her get an abortion. Say what you will about the Post, but they did their homework there.

It appears that Mueller was in DC on jury duty at the time of the alleged assault.

He seems to still be sticking to his story.
Mueller was in charge of Boston office when Bolger gave info leading to false imprisonment of four people. Much more detail if you google the two names.
There was a story quoting Burkman that said the hoax story involves a different person than the woman he represents. I don’t know about any of it except what I read, and wouldn’t put it past anybody tied into all of this to run up false flags, or run up a false flag in an attempt to distract from the real charges coming.
Only time will tell if someone will come forward openly.
The statement of Mueller referring it to the FBI was interesting in many ways, in particular because he ran the FBI for 12 years but the optics of it could be interpreted as him doing what the Dems kept insisting be done with Kavanaugh. Of course, he wanted them to investigate the alleged attempt to induce false testimony. Like his investigation, it is framed to achieve one specific end while appearing to look like it would investigate larger corruption.
