Some odd phrasing from @SenDonnelly attempting to highlight the diversity of his staff:
"Our state director is Indian American, but he does an amazing job
Followed up with: “Our director of all constituent services, she’s African American. But she does an even more incredible job than you could ever imagine.”
This is the not so subtle racism of low expectations.
Most American’s don’t expect much from Blacks and Browns so when they perform well...it’s unexpected at best. If you want an example just look to Barry O.....I did not expect much and thats what it got....he was and is Lazy and shiftless.

Yes. Kind of like Biden's comments about Obama being clean and articulate: "I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," "I mean, that's a storybook, man."
Bottom line. African-Americans have been used and abused by Democrats for many, many years. Case closed!!!

Well, what do you expect when they’re given a free pass through college (and were thirty years ago, when I was going there) then given jobs to fill a quote because of “affirmative action”?
That’s going to hurt him with turnout on election day, I think. If Trump would’ve said what Donnelly said, the dims would be heading his way with pitchforks.
If a GOP or Conservative had said that they would be screaming “Racist” in even news outlet for local radio to the NY Times.
Don’t get to apply ONE standard for the Right and a weak in the knees excuse for the Left.
Is he using colloquial phrasing? For instance, in South Africa when you mean “I’ll see you later”’, you say “I’ll see you just now” which sounds opposite of intent.
It would be at least thirty years ago that a certain railroad hired a diverse official at a good-sized division point, and he became a minor legend to the employees because he knew precisely nothing about railroading, was not afraid of demonstrating that he knew nothing about railroading, and was comfortable telling people that he "had it made" in the company's management because of his race.
He was a personable guy, so people basically laughed and carried on. To nobody's surprise, he was promoted to bigger and better things.
If you want to talk Race, talk Caucasian.
