Chinas state-run Global Times panicked over the election of Jair Bolsonaro as president of Brazil, penning a Monday editorial sternly lecturing the new Brazilian leader that shifting trade away from China to the United States would be unthinkable...On the other hand, Reuters found Chinese officials and senior executives eyeing Bolsonaro with varying degrees of concern, particularly when he talks about tightening Brasilias grip on the supremely valuable niobium industry. Bolsonaro has been critical of Chinas efforts to dominate Brazilian mines, but might be obliged to mute his criticism because China has become such an important customer for Brazilian iron and agricultural products.

Betcha Trump invites Bolsonaro to the White House very quickly.
Didn't the ChiComs want to screw us by replacing US soybeans with Brazilian ones?
If those Chinese hogs starve to death due to lack of feed from either the US or Brazil, the hungry Chinamen may be putting their leaders in the wok.
So Sorry Charlie!
ditto that
China will not allow it's wealth and power to diminish.
China is getting ready for war.
Agreed.
And if they launch a few EMP’s ?
That island is actually quite impressive. Remember seeing images of it when they first landed.
Yes, the US and Brazilian soybean production is probably about 75-80% of world production. There are no more soybean markets for China to turn to.
Yep. They were planning to replace a lot of our ag products from Brazil, though it was speculated that Brazil would be an intermediary for our products. There’s only so much they can grow.
Anyway, it’s win-win for us and Brazil, keeping prices up for China.
The article I linked to said China’s cutting it’s protein requirement for feed. Just a per cebt or so, wish I had the knowledge to know if that would make a difference in quality.
Had a former exchange student from 8 years ago over for a few days this summer. Came with her parents and the first thing they wanted to do was see and touch guns. They hate Xi and what he is doing to the people in China. They LOVE Trump. They walked in a parade and carried a 20’x40’US Flag for 2 miles. They have no love for China. My students mom and dad went to bed that first night with one of my AR’S and a 1911. I think China is ready for a revolution.
It's not just soybeans, China is dependent on importing food supplies from all over the planet. Especially meat, their dependence on livestock production from overseas dwarfs all other countries combined. They don't have enough arable land suitable for farming. Cut the imports from the USA and Brazil, and China has a huge problem trying to feed their populace.
EMP attack danger overstated?

Damn hard to launch an EMP weapon when your launch ability has been flattened by U.S. sub-launched ICBM.s BTW, EMP weapons are very limited in their effective range. In any case, Alex Jones’ claims notwithstanding, such a weapon would be blown out of the sky by our defensive missile forces before it even got close.

China is not a paper tiger. They have no projection capacity yet. The may in the near future unless we starve their economic engine of production. Boycott made in China crap.
There was a reason why rats were declared a “delicacy” during the days of Chairman Mao.
The best part.
From your lips to God’s ears!
Wonder if we have a “Marshall Plan” prepared for post Communist China....
