That makes them worse then criminals

We know how to deal with such people

Lets hope Trump will stop them by considering this an criminal foreign invasion.
Mexico is their highway to America. Apply maximum economic pressure on Mexico and watch how quickly the caravan is turned around. Until such time as Mexico feels serious financial pain they will not take any action to stop the invasion.
Time for negotiation and accepting excuses is over. The only thing foreign counties understand and respect is power and strength.

I’m not hopeful. Only determined actions against Mexico and our own active preparation and resolve will repel the invasion. The fact that the caravan is still heading our way means they and Mexico are not getting the message. The reality is that they are more determined than we are.
It is an invasion and it needs to be treated as such. I’m sorry but I just don’t see a sense of urgency or resolve given the massive problems heading our way.

They are more than 1,000 miles away, still south of Mexico City. A lot can happen in 1,000 miles. Lots of folks down there are not happy about this, saying it's about internal politics in Honduras and Mexico, and it seems to me Trump has a lot of cards to play over the next several weeks to make things uncomfortable for Mexico.
This thing dragging on is--like the Kavanaugh fiasco--terrible optics for the Democrats.

Roughly half way here then. In terms of speed it will take them a few weeks to get here but in terms of determination WE are lagging them. They are relentlessly advancing on us and we’re still uncertain how to stop them.
We have to make it crystal clear to both the invaders and Mexico that we are not playing games. So far neither one has gotten the message.
