The Campbell Soup lobbyist who said George Soros' foundation was assisting a caravan of migrants bound for the United States is no longer with the company.
Kelly Johnston, formerly Campbell's vice president of government affairs, tweeted on Monday that the Open Society Foundations arranged for "troop carriers" and "rail cars" to support the caravan, which formed earlier this month in Central America. Johnston has since deleted his Twitter account.
Campbell and Johnston had discussed his leaving over the summer, the company said on Saturday. Johnston was scheduled to leave in November, but the tweet sped up his exit.
"In the last few days, the company and Mr. Johnston have agreed that under the current circumstances it would be best to accelerate the timing of his departure," a company spokesperson told CNN Business. Thursday was his last day.

Campbell’s went openly ‘gay’ in 2015, with a ‘Johnny Has Two Daddies Who Make Him Soup’ commercial, which p*ssed off the Christian organization, One Million Moms:
“Campbell’s Soup is glorifying this unnatural marriage. One Million Moms believes family is based on love, but this does not justify normalizing sin. 1MM does not agree with the need for Campbell’s to support same sex marriages or couples. Companies should advertise the quality of their products. It is no longer about the product but about their cause. They should not be highlighting who is attracted to whom or who sleeps with whom. This is a marketing decision Campbell’s will regret. This gay-inclusive commercial is attempting to desensitize viewers. There is concern about the way this ad is pushing the LGBT agenda, but an even greater concern is the way that they are attempting to redefine “family” and “real marriage.”
Store-brand canned soup has always been good enough for me and mine...in a pinch. Making homemade soup is SO satisfying; almost a Zen Thing for me. :)

Most likely, the same reason a huge number of other consumers stopped buying canned goods. A century ago there were few alternatives to canned goods. Now, there are huge numbers of prepared foods that taste better than canned goods; frozen, freeze dried, vacuum packaged, fresh frozen...the list is nearly endless. Thus, consumption of soup, especially very salty soup, like Campbells, has plummeted.
The removed the sodium to make Michelle Obama crowd happy, and so it tastes like crap now... and grossly overpriced at most retailers
Yeah, the “two daddys” commercial did it for me.
The 2 guys, or two gals in ads make me sick. As well as the racially balanced ones.

Going to sadly have an old can of Campbells for lunch... remembering for old time sake, not because I agree with them. But this social folly has to play itself out sooner or later. The problem, without the Holy Spirit in the zeitgeist, could be fear. Campbells got intimidated. They didn’t want to be embroiled in controversy.
I’d sure buy Chick-Fil-A brand soups, if they appeared.
Any parent who has ever taken their kids to disny or even a local zoo knows this is true. They cannot walk and be carried for too long.

I don’t know why they had to stick their neck out and CALL it “two daddies.” Without saying that, it could be dad and an uncle, or two buddies, or whatever, and let the audience imagine it how they will. I’m living with a church buddy out of circumstantial necessity, and shoot NO we aren’t “gay.”
Well, that figures. Now you know why I think the Republic is at stake. It will fall when the country is stupid enough to put Democrats back in complete power.

Strange how all these iconic companies have been taken over by anti-American anti-capitalist globalists. They would have never come into existence if the same people had run this country in the past.

A Lifelong Consumer
I skip the Ranch Dressing mix and use my own homemade chicken stock instead of canned/boxed beef broth. TWO packets of Taco Mix make it a little spicier, but add whatever amount of heat you like. (Frank's Red Hot Sauce!) Have Sour Cream, Shredded Cheese, Black Olives, Green Onions, Taco Chips or Fritos, etc. to top. I would have a crock pot of this going when my guys were selling Christmas Trees for me at my Garden Center in November and December. They loved it!
