AT THE WHITE HOUSE AS TRUMP ADDRESSES THE BOMBER
Powerline ^ | October 26, 2018 | JOHN HINDERAKER

Posted on 10/26/2018 1:38:51 PM PDT by Hojczyk

I am in Washington to attend Turning Point USA’s first-ever Young Black Leadership Summit. Today’s highlight was a visit to the White House, where President Trump addressed the group in the East Room. We arrived at the East Entrance to the White House around 9:30, started going through security at 10:00, and were in the White House proper by 10:30 or so.

At 11:30, Ben Carson warmed up the audience for the president. This is what a portion of the crowd in the East Room looked like as we waited for President Trump to appear. There were lots of MAGA hats in evidence, many of which Trump signed when his speech was over:

Trump got a rapturous reception from the Turning Point audience, which sometimes bordered on the rowdy, to the president’s evident delight. He began by acknowledging the arrest of the bombing suspect, whom he did not name. Nor did he comment on the partisan dimension of the bomb story. He praised law enforcement for speedily solving the crime and denounced political violence. He said that the Republican Party is the party of unity for all Americans.

The crowd at the Turning Point summit is the Left’s worst nightmare–hundreds of young, articulate, thoughtful African-American conservatives. We chatted with some of them, mostly students from colleges across the country–a math major from Stanford, a filmmaker from Columbia, a political science major from DePaul. They sounded like pretty much any group of conservatives at a Trump rally: “USA! USA!” “Build that wall!” “Trump! Trump!” In short, it was fun.

This is the first couple of minutes when Trump emerges to shouts of “USA!” and begins his speech by talking about the bomber:

The Young Black Leadership Summit continues with a dinner tonight and a full slate of programs tomorrow and Sunday.

It will be some guy who gave him cash, under a name that can’t be found, with an address that doesn’t exist or is totally unrelated.

Cutouts to cutouts to cutouts as Travis says.

At this point, I expect he was coached and paid by either a Soros operative or a Deep Stater. And that may not be mutually-exclusive.

Although let’s admit it, he’s not likely to be an actual Trump supporter.

I see you agree with the antifa-democrat connection.

[He seems to be a legit fruitcake.]

Then he becomes a perfect recruit for an operation. Who benefits? Democrats. Motivate that Democrat base in light of poll numbers. The timing is just too ... good and convenient.

When they receive the application from Parallax, Joe gives it to the psychiatrist to give one of his special cases.

The Parallax guy shows up and tells him he scored very highly. “Very interesting scores and unusual talents”.

He becomes the perfect patsy.

I just find this all too convenient. And such a “big” supporter. I’ll have to stick with my tinfoil for now. I can’t possibly think of one good thing a genuine Trump supporter would think they could gain from this. Not one good thing at all. It was guaranteed to generate sympathy for Democrats.

The constant drumbeat of propaganda from the MSM probably takes a toll on people, though.

If this guy is a “real” Republican, then I’m out. Will become apolitical. I would have never dreamed someone like that would support conservative values. It doesn’t match...

I haven't seen any legitimate news reports on who LE says he's affiliated with but from just what little I read, he's got multiple issues and a history of ranting on social media and a propensity toward violence.

He's older than most antifa thugs. Mentally unstable. Warped viewpoint raging on steroids.

Whatever. He's what I call a crackpot. A nut case.

I don’t know what’s going on with this guy. He does sound like an unbalanced loon who’s been in trouble before.

But the shooter who went after the Congressional baseball practice seriously injured people.

The guy who kicked a pro-life woman injured her.

The white asshole who knocked the MAGA hat off of a black gentleman’s head the other day was guilty of political terrorism.

Obama telling people to ‘get in their face’; Maxine Waters exhorting people to confront and harass others of different political beliefs; Mrs. Clinton suggesting that there can be no civility unless liberals are in power:

Who is responsible for the violence that we’re seeing in our nation? I have never heard a Conservative voice exhorting people to confrontation and harassment. Only the liberals are doing that.

That’s what was said about Oswald, James Earl Ray, Hinkley and so many others in that category.

Do you see a pattern?

Turning point....... get it?

When these guys start preaching and young educated black people leave the plantation, there is a turning point.

The vaunted Democrat coalition is no more.

In many places the turning poing might become very obvious in just a few days. The coalition will crack. By 2020, the colalitionwill be torn asunder

I'm not playing guessing games with you.

If you want to tell me what you're getting at instead of me trying to guess what you're getting at, then go ahead a say what you want to say.

I've already told you a couple of times what my viewpoint is.

Getting people to think of perpetrators as “nutcase” is consistent with them being set up as a patsy.

Your post #18.

I'm already bored out of my mind with this story. Will be ignoring the news tonight.

I remember the block buster news of a close associate of the President. The media claimed a letter to the New York Times was sent concerning about the mental state of President Trump. It was claimed that this would bring about his downfall. Now absolutely nothing about this.

It could be that within about five days to a week, this "news" will be dead. Shelf life possibly.

"Steer her straight and damn the torpedoes". The words for the administration.

Although let’s admit it, he’s not likely to be an actual Trump supporter.

I see no reason at all to "admit" it. I think he's perfectly capable of being a legitimate Trump supporter, albeit one of questionable judgement and emotional stability.

Why are you so worried about what people who hate your guts are going to say about you regardless of the circumstances? They're talking out of their asses. You know it. I know it. And THEY know it.

If violence actually bothered them, they'd be hard on their own. The left makes these absurd accusations because, like African-Americans, they've learned many on our side will make asses of themselves trying to disprove a negative.

I’m not about to try to disavow him.

The left certainly has it coming with the high profile, consequence-free, provocations they’ve broadcast throughout the land. Only an idiot would think there aren’t Trump supporters looney enough to be provoked by outrageous democrat behavior.

I’m not denying him; I say he’s what they get.

You're just being silly, now.

Do you really think the Republican party is even SUPPOSED to be some kind of ideological monolith?

He's responsible for his own actions, the people he likes, aren't.
