This "bomb scare" is a hoax perpetrated by Democrat operatives to stop Trump from calling them a mob and blunt his rallies.
If they did, in fact, contain explosive material, they were wired so as to be impossible to detonate.

IF it was purchased at Walmart, the deductions from the store’s inventory db will take them to the video time-stamp.
Wal*Mart has been installing systems to record your purchases and tie the video to your receipt for years now.
I didn’t work on it but I’ve heard from someone involved at the periphery of such. And no, NOT a Wal*Mart employee, LOL.
I told this to the guy at the convenience store years ago. A few weeks later he informed me that he had just returned from training on the same kind of system. He was stunned (beeber!) thinking I just passed off some tinfoil to him.
He still works there, BTW. I saw him last week and spoke with him briefly.
Not a prayer in hell of that. This was a coordinated op that required quite a number of people.
The packages weren’t mailed... they were had delivered to 8 different locations in different states on the same day.
This is not a lone wolf. This is a hoax conducted by Dem operatives with full knowledge of all the individuals who received these packages, as well as the full knowledge of CNN.
If CNN thinks there’s a chance in hell that it’s actually a real bomb, they don’t go arranging it on a desk to be photographed up close. They evacuate and let the bomb squad do their thing - to do otherwise is to incur the massive liability that would come with recklessly having their people handle a suspected bomb.
Ergo, CNN knew from the start that this was a hoax, and the chance that CNN would do this on their own without coordination with Dem leadership is as close to zero as it gets.
I don’t think this was a prank done by high schoolers either. Please remember that Generation Z isn’t turning in absentee ballots because they don’t know where to get a stamp.
The Soros package arrived Monday.
Packages mailed from multiple states would indicate a conspiracy.
Packages mailed to different states, not so much.
Odds are, if you mail a package to New York City and one to Washington DC, they will arrive on the same day.
Plus, do we really know that the packages were delivered?
Maybe they were intercepted at the post office or by the Secret Service and the story was made public later, after a package arrived at CNN.
I think it probably was a Democrat or progressive kook somewhere who intended to make Trump supporters look bad.
But I suspect it was some loner, not somebody who had an outlet to express his (and I guess it was a he) opinions.

Even if it was a “bomb”, if you held it in front of you with the ends pointed sideways, you may not even be seriously injured other than minor hand or ear damage from the concussion. All the other force would blow out the ends of the pipe.
That’s amazing. Would a clock on that have a serial number that would give the exact time and date it was sold? I think Bernard Kerik was right, this thing will be solved by Friday. This whole thing reeks of sloppy work by an amateur. The ridiculously fake bomb, no post seal on the stamps, everyone getting these delivered at the same time. Oh God I hope the Rats are behind it, it would utterly obliterate them for the midterms

Of course he is. He's already been briefed so knows the US Postal Inspectors are pulling out all stops to find the source. As a real top level manager he's not going to micromanage.
Likely they were never in the mail stream. The odds of every one of those packages getting though without someone cancelling the postage is slim.
Yep! That’s exactly what I was thinking as well, what kind of bomb uses plastic bubbles filled with leaves to seal the ends? LOL! It’s ridiculous.
If there was shrapnel or ball bearings in the plastic “pipe bomb”, it could still cause quite a bit of damage.
One package may have been sent by courier. The packages sent to Obama and the Clintons were apparently mailed.

It's not going to be impossible to figure out who did this, and no serious political operative would take the risk of being involved in something like this.
The only clever part of this event was the delivery aspect. Sounds like curriers were used and stamps were not needed. Either the perp is Foreign or not too bright. Left is praying this was done by some rural rube with a MAGA hat & whiter than Lizzie Warren....
