Reality star and former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner is calling out President Trump after reports that the administration is considering narrowing the legal definition of gender.
Jenner, a prominent transgender figure, tweeted an image with the repeated phrase “Trans people won’t be erased,” and tagged Trump.
The New York Times reported Sunday that the Trump administration is weighing a motion that would require individuals to identify as male or female based on their genitalia at birth. The move would effectively exclude transgender and nonbinary people from the government’s legal definition of gender and rollback protections for more than a million Americans.
Jenner is a Republican who voted for Trump, but has spoken out against his policies on transgender Americans.
“There are 15,000 patriotic transgender Americans in the US military fighting for all of us,” she tweeted after Trump announced his ban on transgender people serving in the military. “What happened to your promise to fight for them?”
She also described his record on transgender issues as “extraordinarily disappointing,” and said that he has set the community back “20 years.”
Though Jenner has been open about her opposition to Trump’s policies on transgender rights, a number of other Trump critics criticized Jenner for her tweet, given her past support of the president.
“YOU IGNORED THE PLEAS OF TRANS PEOPLE,” tweeted comedian Kathy Griffin, while other social media users accused Jenner of “helping” Trump by voting for him.

“The Americans”: I started watching it when it premiered, but lost interest.
Nope. When I saw an ad for NuMagnum jumping from his sports car onto the front of a truck crashing into it at 65mph, I said, “Nope.” Normal human beings would get killed. If they had told Selleck in the ‘80s his character would do that, he would’ve quit the show.
Cabot Cove... I told you the best way for them to have ended the show was to reveal Angela Lansbury was behind ALL the murders, this in order to bolster her book sales. Would’ve made the entire series believable.
Never watched “House”. That chica is pretty.
I’m only watching “Sunny In Philly”. Plan on binge watching “The Mayans” when “Sunny” finishes up for the season.
You have to remember that people lie to us with statistics all the time. Where does than 15k come from. It appears it is an estimate. If there are just under 1.3 million members in the military. The occurrence of transgenderism is about three-quarters of one percent in the general population. Which would give you 9,650. Though I suspect that a goodly portion are suffice let whacked out they wouldn’t get into the
Military in the first place. I don’t have time to peel back the onion any further, but I suspect that somewhere at the heart of this is someone’s completely wild ass guess.

I hoped that Dr. House would bang Dr. Cameron.
That probably would’ve ruined the show. Of course, if I’d been him, I’d not have gotten past the first episode. Jenny was a doll (I preferred her darker-dyed hair to her natural blonde she had on “Once Upon A Time” - a show I watched for a few eps, but lost me).
