Typhoon Yutu's track has shifted a little south and could bring tropical storm conditions to Guam as soon as late this afternoon through Thursday, the National Weather Service stated Tuesday night.
On Guam, winds could reach 40 to 50 mph Thursday morning, according to NWS meteorologist Mike Ziobro. The typhoon's possible closest point of approach to Guam is 112 miles to the north, he said.

I hope the storm shelters are not all on one side of that island.
Sat through Pamela in ‘76. The island is probably better prepared than any susceptible location as it was pretty much built with such storms in mind. That’s not to say there won’t be damage. Always is.
