Why blacks should vote Republican this election

Last week as three friends and I were preparing to leave the Southeastern Pennsylvania establishment where we had enjoyed an evening of Korean food and cigars, I was asked by a group of four black women if I really believed President Trump was “Making America Great Again” à la the slogan on my President Trump ball cap. I responded that President Trump was making America both “great and proud again.” Three of the women couldn’t conceal their distaste for my matter-of-fact response, albeit they did try.

I knew by the prosody of their feigned interest in honest debate, the direction the women planned to take the conversation. I stated that people couldn’t have it both ways. They couldn’t complain about the dire economic straits America was in at the time President Trump was elected and then condemn the man responsible for improving the economy in just 22 months – to which I added, “Especially if you’re black.” I said to the women that free mobile phones, food stamps, welfare and seasonal part-time jobs at Amazon or FedEx wasn’t economic improvement.

Thanks for the update Mr. Massie. If AAs wish to throw off the shackles placed on them by the dems over the years, yes, they should vote for conservatives or republicans. Which are, as we all to well know, are not always the same. But seems like Mr. Massie missed the speeech that obxxx gave in lost vegas, to a crowd estimated to be in the hundreds, touting his putting in place the things that have brought back the housing market and enabled Trump to succeed. Yeah, okee dokee.

The black majority is not the democrats problem

It is the Kanye and Trump motivated black minority that is the democrat problem. If only 12% or so of black voters leave the plantation, the plantation will fail

There is only so much public funding to spread around. Watch the movie Losing Detroit then watch the caravan heading up from South America and ask yourself should I vote D or R?

Democrats support the caravan - CHEAP LABOR EXPRESS VOTERS. People in the caravan will work cheaper and they’ll suck up all the entry level jobs. In Florida illegals work for five bucks an hour. Try competing with that..

Also, if anyone thinks democrats take the black vote for granted wait til conservatives give up on the black vote... Then they’ll know how little they matter to democrats.

There is always a small minority of black voters who vote Republican. Get that minority up to 20% and hardly any Democrat is safe.

You see articles saying Trump has over 25% or even 30% support from blacks; if anything like that shows up in a midterm election - we’re talking

I don’t want ANY people in my country who think it’s their right to TAKE WHAT THEY WITHOUT ANY REGARD FOR THE PEOPLE THEY’RE STEALING FROM.

As soon as a person enters our country illegally they should be banned from EVER becoming a citizen.

It is my belief that that threshold is in the 10-12% range.

If the number turns out to be 20-25%, there is chatostropic disaster. It's going to be very interesting to watch. The folks in question are not reflected in the polls

Republicans have, IIRC, pulled 10% of the black vote without causing the end of the world for the Democratic Party.

I would agree that 15% would be a serious problem for the Democrats, but IMHO the Democrat black vote has been stable, and will continue to be - until it isn’t. I guess I think that if the “consensus” of black = Democrat breaks down, it won’t likely be a gradual, glacial process. It may have started with the Trump victory, aided not by black votes but by black nonvotes which denied Hillary her “blue wall.”

I like to envision a Republican Party whose leaders wake up on a Wednesday in November to the fact that they are obligated to a new constituency - blacks who are actually awake. And who have to be represented because they represent the margin of victory.

Hillary and Bill’s cancelled the tour...Bill couldn’t bring a Hooter girl on the tour, so he decided to stay home...
