An explosive device was found on Monday near the Westchester County home of George Soros, the billionaire philanthropist who is a favorite target of right-wing groups, according to a law enforcement official.
The device did not explode on its own, and bomb squad technicians “proactively detonated” it, the official said.

It likely was. A couple of investigative citizen sites covering Soros/caravan connections are paralyzed by attacks. Im sure that its not just an alphabet agency looking for which evil right-winger they can pin it on, that would be ludicrous...

You find it unreasonable that a domestic employee recognized something to be an explosive device, then picked the thing up and carried it somewhere? Meanie.

I doubt that this was a false flag attack. Soros does not need (and would not get) much sympathy from any attack. He has too many real enemies and this sort of thing makes him look weaker.
I am surprised that this incident was allowed to get any publicity at all.
I expect this will be wrapped up very quickly with arrests of "members of a right-wing militia group" - that turns out to be 30% FBI informants. I would not be at all surprised if the bomb was supplied by one of those informants and was designed to be a dud.
Right (no pun intended). As far back on his “estate” as it was, it was either an inside job or a staged event to blame the right. The right has not committed enough violence; so Soros has to get the fake news to report that the violence is on “both sides”. (the left is no worse than the right.)
