I’ll never forget Obama. His administration slow walked our LNG export license application causing our contracts to expire thereby causing losses in the millions and unemployment for dozens.

Way back in 2008, Candidate Obama made a visit here to Seattle. A young college student that I knew went to the rally and was gushing on and on about how amazing and cool he was. I asked if anyone had fainted. The kid looked at me with a weird face and said, “Well, yes, actually, someone did...” I replied with, “And let me guess, Obama jumped into the crowd, called for the medics and offered the person his bottle of water?” He nodded and I had to break the news to him that it was all staged and had happened at almost every rally Obama held, because it made him look so cool, competent, and compassionate. The kid was crestfallen and tried to claim I didn’t know what I was talking about. Pretty sure he voted for him anyway - last I heard of him, he couldn’t find a job other than at Starbucks with his Philosophy degree and had joined the Army. Would be interesting to talk with him now...
