This is exactly what we want. The optics of a huge crowd outside a huge arena are perfect.
If he had moved it to an 80,000 seat stadium and only 50,000 came it would be a "failure". Now if he gets even 25,000 it is an overflow crowd. If he gets all 100,000 it is a massive overflow crowd.
The possibility of many leftists requesting tickets that they won’t use is one of the reasons behind issuing so many tickets over capacity. The people who don’t get in are there with fellow Trump supporters and watch big screens together.

Too bad they couldn’t move it to NRG Stadium. I have tickets, but I don’t think I’m going to be able to make it over early enough to actually get in.

Big media is there, but they are just waiting for something negative for Trump or Republicans to be said or done. Otherwise they just don’t mention these rallies.

My boss and I had tickets too, we would have had to leave an hour ago to get downtown. We’ll watch it streaming, but it would have been so neat to get down there.
We’ve got a person coming in for an interview later today, he’s coming from downtown, he said its a mess, and might be late. :-)

I’m about to find out. I work downtown, but on the other end, so I’m not seeing much traffic here. But I am about to pick up my wife at her office, which is only 4 blocks away from the Toyota Center.

They moved the event after there were more ticket requests than they anticipated.
More people will be outside than the arena can legally accommodate.
Aveanti was going to hold a resistance rally but canceled it when he saw the numbers..lol
WOW! 100,000 ticket requests for an arena that holds about 18,043.
